Coffee Rush reminds me of the Cooking Fever app. You’re racing around gathering ingredients to prepare beverages and complete customer orders before they lose patience and walk away. To keep up, you’ll need to upgrade your cafeteria so you can move and collect ingredients faster. Once the cafeterias close, everyone tallies their completed orders, upgrades, and failed orders to determine the winner. This is a fantastic family game. It’s light but just deep enough to make you think strategically about your movement and which orders to prioritize. And it is gorgeous. The production quality feels like something you’d expect from a high-end Kickstarter or Gamefound deluxe edition. Yet it’s under $40! Many people have complained that the point system feels too low, and we agree. So we implemented the following house rules, which really enhanced the experience for us: Scoring Completed Orders • Official Rule: Each completed order is worth 1 point. • House Rule: When completing an order, you earn $1 for a 2-ingredient drink, $2 for a 3-ingredient drink, and $3 for a 4-ingredient drink. Upgrading the Cafeteria • Official Rule: Pay with 3 completed orders. • House Rule: Pay $5 per upgrade. Rush Tokens • Official Rule: Use to move 1 extra space. • House Rule: Use to move 1 extra space or collect an extra ingredient from your current location. End Game Scoring • Official Rule: 1 point per completed order, 2 per cafeteria upgrade, minus 1 per failed order. • House Rule: Total Money + 3 points per upgrade + 1 point per completed specialty drink, minus1 per failed order. We found the game extremely fun and engaging, and these new house rules made it even better. If you decide to try them out, I hope they enrich your experience as much as they did ours. Cheers!

This game is delightful. I started playing it on bga and thought my gaming group would like it. I didn’t know but was delighted to find out the quality of the pieces inside. It comes with little cups for each player and all of the ingredients are actually little miniature pieces, not just card board like in most games. It feels like an upgraded components deal but it was what came with the base game and I absolutely love the tactile feel of it and the thoughtful design of the components. The tiny cups are absolutely adorable and my group has really enjoyed this game.

This is one of the nicest looking games I own. The pieces are gorgeous and premium quality. The game was fairly quick and very easy to learn - played with a mixed group of adults and children and everyone loved it.

This is one of my favorite board games ever. Not only is it a fun, competitive game, and thematically it’s perfect, but it is well made. All the pieces are so cute. Love playing this game with my family.

The Game itself is really cute and a good quality. Its a bit to learn how to play the first time. We tried with our 6 year old around and it was too much. More of a game for older kids and adults

this is one of the best games overall i have played, beautiful design, simple mechanicas and it has that quick pace that makes you think fast.

Very fun, especially if you like cute little pieces. Easy to be social & still play. Thick pieces make it durable. A little high priced, but it’s playability makes it worth it!

We love this game so much. We’ve purchased multiples as gifts for friends. They all love it. It’s simple, but difficult to win. And the little beans/chocolate pieces are way too adorable.

Great game. As with most games it is better with more than 2 players. The 2 player games goes on forever so we tend to remove half the cards, or set a timer to end the game! But lovely pieces, good concept and quite addictive! Another review mentioned that it is a lot of effort for not many points, which I agree with, but you could change the point system to make it more rewarding.

We play this game with our kids (7 and 9) and they love it. The quality of the pieces is incredible and the art on the cards is also beautiful. It's a really cute and fun game for anyone above the age of about 7 I would say.

Los componentes son de buena calidad, con piezas pequeñas pero de fácil manipulación. Las reglas son claras y sencillas de entender, lo que permite una rápida inmersión en la partida. Aunque la expansión añade complejidad y nuevas opciones, no es imprescindible para disfrutar del juego. En definitiva, una excelente opción para quienes buscan un juego ágil y divertido.

Aesthetically pleasing no question. Does recreate the tension of unceasing orders piling up. Unfortunately, at the end, too much effort for too little points and separation of points between players.

A very cute game aesthetic, with a small learning curve but a very fun experience. The game components are adorable and well made.
