Ok I guess
Very short book, not much new information. Yet, it's still good to revisit certain things. If you're someone who is just off putting because you're generally hawkish in conversations, this book will help. If you're someone who is really struggling with confidence/self esteem and that is what's specifically holding you back, this book won't do anything to help that.

A really good read
As a bit of a loner it always puzzled me hpw people interacted with one another, and being a loner I was and am mostly still very introverted so I am always analyzing myslef and everything around me and it dawned on me that you're ability to interact with people around you and people that you may not know yet is vital to your future and fortune. After studying communication through various books but mostly unspoken communication such as tones, body language and the like I was still a bit shacky on the actual interactions part, I have to say that this book is brilliant at hoghlighting the negative points that you might not even know you have and he explains in a simple easy to understand way to help yourself remedy these negative habits.I would definitely recommend this book for anyone that is having a problem with communicating with the people that they surround themselves with or interacting with new people that you do not know yet.Thank you for taking the time to read this and please have a good day further. And to Patrick thank you for taking the time to write this book for those who need it out thereImraan SPeace out

If you are struggling to connect with people, read this book
This is a good book for people who are not good at connecting and understanding people. Patrick king gives great insight on how to better yourself as a person, and how to deal with people in any situation. Chapter 1 resonate with me the most because I need to take the initiative and talk to people, instead on waiting on people to come up to talk to me. I need to feel the fear and do it anyway because it will help me to break out my comfort zone and I can meet different kinds of people in this world. It would also help me with girls to because I would see a girl stare and smile at me, but won't take the first step to approach and have a conversation. After reading this book I will take onwership to talk to people even if I don't want to. Patrick did a good job explaining the belief police which I know alot of people who are and explain that people need to listen more and shut up. He elaborate what the difference between ethos, pathos, and logos. I recommend this book for people who are anti social . P.S I think back to the Future part 2 was the best, but that just my opinion lol.

Good value for Good information.
I was looking to re-read the classic "how to win friends and influence people" but wanted to find something a bit more updated when i ran across this title. It was the oracle's advice I needed for a paradigm shift in my views allowing me to reframe the situation to value different outcomes. It helped me handle a stressful situation with a manager.

People skills galore
simple and direct book. why isn't common sense more common? i loved how many angles the author took in presenting how to be better with people and communicate better. some highlights include thinking non-selfishly, empathy and compassion, the platinum rule, and the entire shutting up chapter had me laughing.

There is always room for improvement
There is always room for improvement and this book is a great example of that.No matter what you think your people skills are like there’s likely to be a nugget or two in this book which will make them even better.

Be Nice
Not a hard formula but the book is good review of common mistakes and hints to being nicer. How to avoid snapping a quick response and not strangle idiots.

Socially inept? There's a book for that.
So, I get that this information would be easy to find other places, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate the time and effort it took the author to compile it and write it up in a readable way for my lazy self.I'm not really what you call a natural "people person." I can fake it for as long as it takes to interact with someone on a short-term basis, but dealing with long-term interactions, like office politics is a nightmare for me. This book did help. I have to re-read from time to time to keep it fresh, but it's made a big difference for me.
