Installed with no problems and works great with no issues. I had self-tapping bolts in my Toro mower and did not need to tap the mounting holes. As noted by a prior reviewer, I also changed out the pully to use my old pully, which was a larger diameter than the pully that came installed on the Assembly. There is no reason to buy the OEM part at twice the cost since this works just as well.

The part fit perfectly. Mounting holes were not threaded. Using the original mounting bolts quickly remedied the problem. The price was good. And, I would use Erie Tools for next after market purchase, if need arises.

My pulley was shot and needed to be replaced. Could have just replace it but decided to replace the full assembly as the "teeth" that hold the blade in place were worn out on my old one. Other than that I would have just replaced the pulley. The new unit is well made and was an easy install however the actual fully is somewhat smaller than the original, maybe 1/4" all the way around and leaves the belt looser than desired. It has thrown the belt (new) once since replacing. If it continues I will have to search for the proper size. Other than that, it seems well built.

Impressive. Part for my lawnmower fit well, it was delivered on time and the price was very good.

It's an affordable option for replacing MTD spindles. The quality overall seems to be OK, however, there are a few significant points to know!!!!- The pulley on top is spaced too high to fit my mower! See the picture. I was able to use the spindles however, because I flipped the pulleys over. By flipping the pulleys upside down, the belt groove matched the same height as the old one.- It does not come with a grease Zerk for lubrication!- The mounting bolt holes are not threaded, but that's OK. They are tapered slightly to receive the self-tapping bolts that were on my mower. The bolts cut their own threads into the cast aluminum.

All 4 of the holes looked like someone took a die grinder to them. The threads were there, but ground out. One of the holes were over sized enough where I had to re tap them all at a 3/8 thread in order to get it to work.
