Spent ages looking around for good coffee scales. I know the brand so thought I'd give it a try and was pleased I did. Everything seems to work well and the device seems really well made. You can enable/disable sound (doesn't bother me, and as there are no physical buttons I quite like the audible confirmation) and also enable/disable the automatic timer. I'm using it with an espresso machine so have turned it off as want the timer to start when I press start on the machine, not when coffee starts to hit the cup. I like the little rubber/silicone(?) mat which comes with it which helps level the portafilter while weighting your grinded coffee. Not cheap but seems to be a well made and well thought out product.
