Complies with ASTM Specification E438, Type I, Class B glass requirements. KIMAX-51 has excellent chemical resistance against sodium leaching - a factor common in soda lime glass products. This premium quality tube has a sturdy, uniform bottom and consistent length. Tubes are packed in convenient trays for ease of use on bench tops and in drawers. Trays are shrink-wrapped in plastic film with tubes remaining in constant alignment for protection against in-transit breakage and contamination. Designed from ASTM Specification E890. Every BORISLICATE GLASS TEST TUBE I have ordered thru Amazon (several thousand, by now) has been as advertised (to spec). Depending on the price, I have ordered from several suppliers. This particular order was housed in the best packaging to date, as ALL 1000 units reached my doorstep in tact! The aggressive pricing & the protective packaging will no doubt be instrumental for a re order. I do recommend this Amazon eTailer.

Fantastic! Exact same Kimble product that I normally order, but for much much cheaper than my typical lab suppliers. A couple of tubes in each box were broken, but it was worth it for the price difference.
