Bodytec3/4 Ultra Slim Revive Orthotic Arch Support Insoles for Over Pronation

Great for preventing bunion pain!
I've been wearing bulky 3/4 orthotics (prescribed by podiatrist) for arch support for my bunions for about a year now. I've had problems finding shoes that accommodate the orthotics - I can either only buy shoes with a removable insole, or go up a size (meaning the shoe is too big elsewhere). After a meltdown last week while scouring the high street for summer shoes that would accommodate my orthotics (nope, I couldn't find any) I searched Amazon for 'ultra thin orthotics' and this product appeared. I was initially unsure whether they'd be suitable for bunions (the product details and customer reviews / questions don't mention bunions anywhere) but I've found that the arch support provided is enough to prevent my bunion pain when walking (please note that my bunions are pretty mild, so I'm not sure what it would be like for someone with more severe bunions). I'm delighted that these fit into ALL my shoes and provide the support that I need - and for a fraction of the price I paid my podiatrist (not to mention the fact my sanity will remain intact when buying new shoes in future - priceless).I've only worn these for a couple of days and haven't walked more than a mile at any one time, so I will update my review if I find that the support subsides with longer walks / over time.

I have never used support insoles before. I ordered ... updated
Update: Still using the original pair bought back in 2016, and now ordering more so there is less moving them from one shoe to another! They keep the pain completely at bay and are an excellent price.I have never used support insoles before. I ordered these because I had significant pain and some minor swelling in my inner arch after walking in what I thought were supportive boots. I did a bit of online research and frightened myself! Anyway, these were not expensive at all and worth a punt.I don't know if I have a problem with "pronation" or will have in the future. What I will say is they are very supportive, and in flat shoes, I will always use them. (I ordered this product and another so I could compare the two - I won't be re-ordering the other because they don't do a "small")

Good fit, relieve pain
These have really helped the metatarsalgia in my foot already though it will clearly be some time before anything resolves fully. I guess the insoles help redistribute the weight across the foot and as my feet are quite flat there's a lot of stress on the joints between toe and foot. They fit ok in some of the shoes I have - better than another pair I bought at the same time which are better in trainers as they are a bit wider.

Not as high a lift as others that I have worn
These arch supports are not as high a lift as others that I have which are cheaper than these ones. They do the job, but it depends on how much 'lift' you need. I obviously need more of a 'lift' than these give, so in future will be buying the ones that I've bought before.

& nice slim size that fit in regular ladies' shoes Cons
Bought these in the hope they would be a spare pair to one received from the NHS for arch support. Pros: Firm-solid insole, & nice slim size that fit in regular ladies' shoes Cons: Led to agonizing heel & back pain lasting over a fortnight after wearing for just a few hours in 2 different pair of shoes - flat & trainers. Wish could return these, but can't

At last a support I can tolerate and maintain my form with
I bought these for running. I’m a forefoot striker but still over pronate a little too much as I start to toe off and get a sore knee due to having overly curved tibias. I can not tolerate rigid orthotics or even superfeet carbons and have been using wedges of EVA foam under my shoes insoles. These perform better as they are shaped to the foot and were comfy. You know they are there but they do allow your foot to spring enough. I use them in <4mm drop shoes which are nice and flexible but get support half way to a pair of stability shoes which again I struggle to tolerate. I’ll be buying a few spares of these as I can’t see them lasting forever maybe as long as the shoe, I’ve put them under the insole of the trainers so hopefully they’ll be afforded some additional protection and last a little longer.

Protec insoles
Absolutely perfect, fits in any shoe. I had orthopedic insoles from biomechanics and they were thick and cumbersome and I was extremely limited to one pair of boots as all my other shoes were made to feel to tight and uncomfortable. These insoles fit into my summer pumps and all my other shoes giving me the support I need comfortably. I have since bought another pair for convenience. I highly recommend these.
