My kitty's favorite wet food!
My kitty absolutely LOVES Fussie Cat wet food! It is one of the very few kinds of wet food she'll actually eat, as she is an extremely picky/finicky eater. I can't say I blame her though - she prefers wet food that actually looks, and smells, like REAL food (not some kind of processed, and mashed, food loaf). The Tuna with Anchovies is her favorite kind. The packets are easy to open, and they contain a lot of food in each. It comes out kind of in one piece though, so I have to mix it up for her first. Overall, I think it's very well made with high quality ingredients - a great value for the price. I highly recommend it!

Has real chunks of fish!
Our 17-year-old cat was recently sick and lost a lot of weight. To help him recover, we got a tube of high-calorie paste, but he doesn't like it. We mix it in with water and a pouch of this food and he gobbles it right up. This food has large pieces of fish in gravy. Our cat normally prefers pate, but he doesn't seem to mind this since it's actual fish, not processed cubes of who-knows-what like other "chunks in gravy" food. However, it can be crushed easily before opening the packet if your cat wants something closer to pate, and our cat likes it that way, too. Somehow my hands end up smelling fishy whether or not I think I've touched any of the food, but that's probably why he loves this food. We have two other cats who are not wild about fish, so that's convenient since we don't want them gaining any weight with the high-calorie paste we mix in it. But if your cat doesn't like fish, they may not care for this food. I would definitely recommend this food because it seems like it's less processed than other cat foods and I feel like it's a healthier option.

Ok but not like the canned version
This is hit or miss with my cat and he won’t eat the whole pouch, when he does attempt. Nit like the cans though. He loves the canned Tuna and chicken liver, tuna & salmon, etc and eats the whole can in two seperate meals (morning and night). He is older with poor teeth and won’t eat a lot of dry unless it’s small, softer or mixed with canned Fussie. I have wasted so much money trying to find a cheaper alternative to the canned Fussie cat but it just goes in the garbage. He won’t eat anything he doesn’t like, whether his teeth are bothering him or not, but if I don’t get what he wants he will lose weight and then can’t fight any infections or health issue. Not sure why they are different but they should make it transparent. The brand was pretty forthright it seemed a few years back and they were adamant about transparency and the means of national or international laws and methods of sourcing ingredients and getting fish, in particular from country with high standards for pet food fish. Mainly similar as with human consumption level like Thailand and being very open about its sourcing. But something is different with the pouches and not being transparent about it upsets me and taints their reputation in my opinion. It makes me question their products when they start saying nothings different when you see all these reviews and people who know and are familiar with the food all say it’s something different. These are cheaper than cans and for me I was hoping to find an affordable variety pack other than driving to my local source to buy individual ones. But I guess it’s better than buying the pouches and wasting my money. They need to explain what the difference is though. Because there is something. Not the same at all.

My fussy cats LOVE Fussy cat cans but love the pouches a tiny bit less; good value
I've had many cats. One thing I've found that almost all cats love is a gelatinous covering to their wet food. I found this out when I first tried Fussy Cat canned food in aspic. All of my cats have loved the aspic version of Fussy cat. A big favorite flavor is the shrimp and tuna in aspic. My current two cats are no exception. They love the canned version of Fussy cat but they never eat it all even though the cans are 2.5oz so I thought the pouches would be a better option since they're easier to save the leftovers in. However, for whatever reason, my two cats aren't as crazy about the pouch version. That's how fussy they are! It's the same brand, same flavor in aspic but they turned their noses up after licking the juice. The only reason I can see for this is that the version in these pouches doesn't have the same amount of aspic as the canned version does. The price point is so much better for the pouches than the cans. I ended up bringing the box over to my boyfriend's house where we have 5 other cats and they loved it! Even my two cats that will only eat Temptations as a treat will eat this. I was happy to see that it didn't go to waste that they enjoyed it so much. It has real food in it that you can identify with your eyes. The tuna and shrimp are in large chunks that look like human grade food. The only downfall, when it came to my other 5 cats, was when I saved half an open pouch in the refrigerator. I took it out, left it on the counter to adapt to room temperature because most cats don't like their food to be as cold as refrigerated temperatures, and once it warmed up the texture changed. This happens with most cat food that I try to save after it's been opened so it's not just this brand. The aspic fell flat and wasn't gelatinous anymore and the cats no longer had interest in it. I opened a new pouch to see if they still liked it in general and they did. They just wanted a fresh pouch!

My cats love it.
I have five cats and they all love Fussy Cat, but usually only the aspic varieties.

Cat approved
I was a little put off by it initially, it slid out of the pouch and right off the plate and onto the counter. Hahaha I split 1 pouch between my two cats. I pour some juice in one plate, then drop the rest on the other plate, split it in half and then I break it up with a fork. My cats really enjoy this, and I was struggling to find something they would eat consistently!
