Schylling Flexi-Sphere

This is such a great quality flexi-sphere. I love that it can do so many different things and it is quiet so someone can play with it and not disrupt those around them.

I bought one for each of the grands. They loved them. This has entertained my youngest for many hours in the car. It’s not super small, but small enough to also fit in a purse.

Some friends of ours had one of these probably 10 years ago and I've been fascinated ever since... my hubs bought this as a stocking stuffer for me and I was so excited! Haha, I've played with it every day since Christmas Eve. At first, the toy was pretty stiff, wires didn't slide smoothly and one of the wires had actually popped off when we first opened the box. A little adjustment and it was totally fine. And best of all, it took maybe 15 minutes of playing with it for it to loosen up and do its flex-sphere magic with ease. ;) Rated only 4 stars because of the initial wire issue. :)

First of all, the description says that this is a package of two orbs, and there was only one in the box. And second of all, as fun as these are, this one is very flimsy. Not quality at all. The wire seems to be painted. After a few minutes of playing with the orb, I was covered in flecks of silver paint and the orb was easily bent in places. I do not recommend this specific listing.

I already had one from another brand but not as colourful (offered to me by my parent's office assistant in the late 1990s). The other one has red pearls or beads.

Fun fidget toy. However it did have some rough edges. But I can sit for hours just flipping it into different shapes

Cheaply made product. Started to come apart after minimum use.

The item is decent. It's not the best quality but if you're not going to use it a lot it should be a great choice. I would have given 4 stars but I pulled one because I think the company's marketing/advertising stinks. There are three in the pictures and it's not made abundantly clear that there's only one that's being sold. Buyer beware. Wonder why things are worded the way they are and why do they show that many in their advertisement? Why not 4 or 8? So for anyone that bothers reading reviews - THERE IS ONLY ONE! Three are pictured but that's not what you get. YOU ONLY GET 1. SINGLE. SOLITARY. That'd be great to know up front.

This product is an interesting toy. Besides changing shapes, it is a toy that helps in exploring different points of view on things, like spacial understanding. I hope this toy will help any future scientist in there way of understanding things for them. Lovely toy.
