Purchased for use with an F-250 Super Duty crew, 4WD, short bed, exposed nuts have scratched paint near right rear tail light assembly. Pad bolt heads or nuts, depending on left or right side use, with a cloth or fosm. This is a design flaw. I have a scratch now.

I like that it’s well made out of very strong material. It really helps 100% better entering in & out of the bed of my pickup truck. Definitely worth the money and definitely recommend to others.

Will probably work just fine for most people on most full size trucks. Figured I could use a little extra assist on the higher bed height on the T1 body '19 Silverado over my previous K2 '16 Silverado. Found out on the '19+, higher does not mean more difficult........plus its design appears to make use of the bar more difficult. The newer body '19+ has a much deeper assist step cut into the rear bumper and hand grip shaped stake in the upper body rails, convenient for a hand hold to get a boost up, a nice redesign.....I found it easy peasy to get in WITHOUT the bar and I'm 70 y.o. with a bad back so I won't be using it. Figured it might be OK for the wife so I tried to set it up for use on either side. Discovered that its shape prohibits setup for use on both left and right sides because of interference from the drop cable arrangement on the GM '19+ body, has to be set best for right side of the bed, unfortunately that's the bed hinge with an open slot exposing the plastic insert for the slow drop mechanism.....mess up alignment with the slot and depending on your weight and pull I was afraid it could deform the hinge housing housing or possibly damage the insert.

Works great with the tailgate step ladder I added for easier access into the bed of my truck.

This handle makes a world of difference for getting into the bed of trucks.

The height and directional facing are adjustable with a star driver, making it usable on right of left side. Very easy to adjust and use.
