Learning to skate.
Very pleased with the skates. My granddaughter did better with these beginner skates especially since you can lock the front wheels. She is 4 and 8 months old and really grasping the idea of skating.

1st pair of skates for kids
Perfect for toddlers learning to skate! Recommend steps / stomping to keep them from rolling.

Great but setting is finicky
I like these skates, and I like that they adjust to the shoe size. But I found that the setting (to switch between free wheels / stopped / forward only) doesn't stay in place. The button will randomly move during use.

Some good features but unsure of hardiness
I like that there is an option to lock the front wheel for beginners. I like that they can be adjusted to bigger or shorter to fit the child’s foot and shoe as it grows. These were the only skates I could find that that the wheel lock options. I’m not real confident how well made they are or how long they will last because the lock and adjustment components don’t feel real solid.

Very helpful for new beginners
Very helpful for kids that are just starting out. I’m not sure they’ll last long enough for hand-me-down but they’re plenty good for 1 kid.
