Great for preschoolers
My wife is a preschool teacher in a bilingual class and this calendar was exact,y what she was looking for. It is very handy when teaching both English and Spanish to kids. The pocket holder is very durable and has held up to the pulling and yanking by 3 year olds.

Best learning Calendar out there!
Love this calendar! I taught Nursery School for eight years and now am home with an in home Daycare Program and using this calendar once again. We use if for Circle Time every day. Children easily learn the days of the week, months of the year, season, weather, special events and counting. I had my Three's counting to 31 by the end of our school year and that is having them only two times a week! No negatives here!!!

Not pleased..
I purchased 4 of these on one order and I paid two different prices. Three of them were at least $11 more than one of them by the time I had received them. Not pleased...

Love it
Love this calendar so much. Yes, you have to cut all the pieces but it didn't take me long at all. I purchased this for my 5 year old daughter because she is having a hard time learning the concepts of yesterday, today, tomorrow, as well as of course just how a calendar works. She loves it and enjoys helping me update it every day. We start with all the date numbers on the black side, then flip them to the red side when that day is done. Then we move the yesterday, today, tomorrow tabs. Love all the weather and holiday tabs too. Buy this calendar, you won't regret it.

Pretty good!
This calendar has many good points:Good size - It's the typical classroom pocket chart size, good for circle time at a traditional school, but small enough that it can tuck behind a door for use at homeBilingual - Cards are reversible from English to Spanish. We use this at home school to reinforce language lessonsMany Holiday cards - The holidays are very diverse, including holidays from multiple religions, and secular holidays for the U.S. and Canada.Tons of weather cards - More than I will likely ever needReversible date cards - so I can color code weekends and weekdaysSome things that irk me and made me demote it down to a 4 star ratingCutting - Holy cow, it took forever to cut all 3 billion cards out. Well, it took a little over an hour, but still. I was not expecting that.Holiday card size - The holiday cards are juuuuusssssttt tall enough to slightly overlap the date card on the row above them. I'm just far enough on the OCD spectrum for this to bother me. I considered trimming them down in the middle (they are double ended) and packaging taping them back together, but the size is necessary if you are using the weather cards, so I'll have to get over it.

Calendar
Okay so this Calendar is neat and it does come with everything you need, HOWEVER… it comes with these thick card stock pages that you would think would be pre cut or at least perforated so that cutting it out and setting it up would be easy, but no. I spent 4 hours cutting everything out and trying to make it even. I was not happy at all and it really felt like a waste of time. I have since seen much better quality calendars on amazon and would honestly recommend buying one of those instead of this one.

Great purchase
Works very well for our homeschool classroom. It's a great size and pretty sturdy. The pieces were thick, but you do have to cut them out yourself. All of the other calendars I looked at also said you would have to cut them out so not a huge deal. I choose to get them laminated to make sure they last longer and was told by the clerk that they were the thickest she's laminated.

Love this! Yes
Love this! Yes, you do have to cut it out, but all of the cards are outlined in black, so you don't have to cut a super straight edge if you keep the black boarder, that is what I did and it looks great! The boys [2 and 4] love seeing the "special days" cards each month and keep track of the weather. It has also really helped them grasp the concepts of "yesterday, today, tomorrow, next week, this month" etc.
