This is gorgeous and unique wallpaper. The peafowl design is different than anything I've ever seen before; in my mind it's kind of an old world motif with a 21st century update.I'd say the colors are saffron or India yellow and a mid tone teal with white accents; stunning.The paper is the same weight as all the other peel and stick papers I've tried, kind of lightweight and easy to work with if you take your time and do some research as to how best to handle it. There is a texture applied to the finish which males to paper look and feel more substantial once it's on your wall.As I've noted in other peel and stick paper reviews, this is not like grandma's shelf liner which was super sticky and hard to work with. The stickiness is actually very different; more tacky than sticky.There are differing reports as to how durable and lasting the peel and stick papers are, but what I've seen is that it all comes down to the prep-work and weather your walls are straight. Many professionals don't recommend using any kind of wallpaper in a bathroom unless you've got really good ventilation as the steam will make the paper bubble, buckle and peel.Most peel and stick wallpapers are meant to be removable, but I have never tried it, so I can't say how it works.The backing paper has the usual cutting grid, which makes it a bit easier to measure and cut straight lines.The width of this roll is 16 1/4". I haven't measured the length.

I was reluctant to order this item after reading reviews mentioning the online colors didn't quite match the colors of the wallpaper they received. Lucky for me, my roll did match! I love the quaint peacock set against a background color that closely resembles ground ginger. I'm equally impressed with the overall design reminiscent of an earlier period in history. I love the feel of the pebbled matte finish and appreciate that the paper is waterproof and able to be wiped clean. Another plus is the measuring grid on the back peel-away sheet for faster and easier trimming that includes how-to application pictures and instructions in ten languages including English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese, Polish, Czech, Arabic, etc.Worth noting:Not a criticism, but the pattern repeat (aka drop) on this design is a whopping 15.5 inches. After adhering your first strip of paper to the wall, you'll need to cut/hang/match the rest of your pieces so the design lines up and the pattern looks seamless across the entire wall. Because the pattern on this paper is so large, you may need to cut off as much as 15.5 inches of paper per strip to reach that perfect place on the paper where the design matches up. This can result in a lot of waste, the need to purchase extra rolls, and added expense.Next - this vinyl paper isn't very thick and tears easily. I've ordered four different rolls of this type of peel and stick paper and they all rip easier than regular contact paper.Lastly, a minor concern is the smell when the roll is removed from its protective plastic shipping wrapper ( think of a new vinyl shower curtain or vinyl tablecloth smell). The smell faded within a couple days after the paper was unrolled. If anyone in your home is sensitive to vinyl fumes, let it air out before applying.On a positive note, I'll use this roll to cover an old, cheap trunk badly in need of a redo. I think the larger pattern will make a real statement and a smaller project is the best way to practice applying this paper before I tackle a larger one like covering walls... but I must write I reallly think walls would be totally transformed with this amazing pattern.

I decided to order this paper based on a review photo (it looked amazing) and I am not disappointed. I won't have a chance to hang it for a few weeks and I am very excited to get it on the wall. I'm selling my house soon and this is going to be an easy and glamorous update for my sad walls.

Look at this gorgeous wallpaper with your entire face. It's just darling. It completely transformed my dressing room.I put little effort into the measuring and cutting and yet look at it doing it's best job.This is wallpaper made by the heavens for sinners because it is so forgiving.It sticks perfectly and removes without tearing. I repositioned several times and it had my back every time.Normally I would curse the wallpaper God's for forsaking me and plotting against me. Not with this wallpaper. Any mistake made here I take full responsibility for.The coloring is exactly as seen. I think some others might have eye protection mode on or their brightness set too high on their screen because it looks exactly as I expected.Buy it. Buy some for your neighbors. Buy extra and cover bathroom stalls at gas stations. The world needs more wallpaper like this.All the stars

The first thing I noticed out of the box was that the colors seemed much darker than the listing photos. I decided to check again in the daylight, but there did not seem to be much difference from the night before (see last picture). The yellow is much darker than I thought it would be (the listing photos actually led me to believe it would be almost a green) and the blue is not at all the bright blue from the listing photos. I wish I could better describe the colors, but I'm having trouble putting it into words.I liked that the back of the paper had easy to follow gridlines and a sample piece was really easy to apply to the wall, sticking really well, even where I had manhandled it. It also came off with no problem and no sticky residue on the wall. It also has a barely-there-texture that feels really nice to the touch.My only other concern is the thinness of the wallpaper itself. It's nice that it's not bulky... but it ripped really easily after I took the sample off the wall. I then found I could easily rip pieces off of the remaining roll.
