Worth the price, a real hit with my boys!
I bought the boys some nylon chew toys when I first got them which they have almost entirely eaten! So I bought them a bacon flavoured nylabone replacement - which they haven’t even touched. What a waste. The brand I bought before was bamboo-based wishbone shaped chew, but unfortunately has been discontinued. I took a punt on this benebone replacement. We’ve had it six hours and they’ve squabbled over it and already chewed happily at all 3 ends. A real hit with the fussy lads. I’m astonished and already bought another one so they don’t have to share. We are in lockdown at the moment so having something to keep them from being bored is really important and I’m honestly relieved and happy they love this so much! One of them tried to take it on a walk with us earlier, so they clearly really like it.It’s more expensive than other nylon brands but I think the texture and flavour is what they like. I’d say £10 is steep for what it is, but they absolutely love it and if it lasts, it’s money well invested.I bought the peanut flavoured mini, and it’s perfect for my 5kg chihuahua crosses. They love the curved bit too as it’s much easier to hold on to. No strong smell and so far seems pretty durable!

Staffies took to bones immediately
It usually takes a while for my dogs to take to a new bone after the immediate curiosity sniff is over. I bought 2 of these bones for my two very strong chewing staffies and they haven’t looked back.I don’t like paying too much for bones because it’s sometimes a hit and miss whether they eventually take to them or not. These bones were a hit from the start. I got 2 flavours and the two staffies like both bones and share. I don’t think they’ve gone back to any of their old favourites for any length of chewing time. These are now the new fav bones. More expensive than I normally pay, but worth it because I can tell I’ll get my money’s worth.

🐾Great for a ferocious gnawer!
I bought the regular/medium bone for my Border Terrier who basically destroys every toy in about 5mins! She’s had this one for about 4 days and hasn’t left it alone! Betty loves it! So I’m presuming it tastes good! She is a ferocious chewer and yes, the toy is gnawed at the ends and a little rough as all nylon bones get but she hasn’t managed to get any chunks off yet! I would say just check the toy daily to make sure that there are no sharp edges that could cut a dogs mouth or gums. Overall, it’s a thumbs up from me and Betty! 🐾

Fantastic durable chew
This chew has coped really well with my Labrador - he destroys most things but this chew so far has done more than 3 months and only shows rough surfaces on the ends without any chunks coming off or him eating any of it! He keeps coming back for more and looks like it will withstand more abuse yet.

Must be good!!
This is the 2nd one of these bones that I've bought - the last was December & is still in good chewable condition .... two of my dogs absolutely love these and, because of its design, are able to share the bone - these are Sheepdogs too, not a tiny breed - if they both decide that they need to do a spot of chewing before sleep. Really impressed as they're not so hard & 'plasticky' as the Nylabones which so far have been the only hard wearing chew I've been able to find.

Dogs love this, pretty durable, but an unpleasant smell
My labradors LOVE this chewy bone toy. The Y-shape makes it easy to hold so they can chew at it with their back teeth. They seem to like the flavour and will chew at this for ages. It is a little less durable than the toughest nylabones, but they are very persistent chewers and it has lasted reasonably well compared to other chew toys.I am dropping a star because of the smell. Sorry, but I keep thinking the cat litter tray needs cleaning out, and it doesn't - it's this bone. To be fair, our dogs would happily clean out the litter tray so it obviously appeals to them. As an outside toy, or for use in a crate (at least away from my nose), I'd recommend it.

Not for us
Not suitable for our dog. Not sure if it's a bit rough on his mouth, he excessively licks and smacks his lips after using it. He has yelped once when chewing it also. This doesn't happen when he uses his Nyla bone so I will be switching back to that brand.

My dogs love them
My dogs just love Benebone, full stop. There are always a few knocking about and my dogs are often munching on them, day and evening. They last incredibly well, even with a machine of a German Shepherd chomping away on it all the time.
