For 13-22 Dodge Ram 1500 17 Inch Silver Steel Rim - OE Direct Replacement - Road Ready Truck Wheel

These rims fit my dodge truck perfectly and are very good looking.

My RAM 1500 came with 20 inch wheels with wide tires. We had a need to travel over mountain passes in he winter so bought chains in case needed. Fortunately I installed the chains before leaving on the trip. The were rubbing on the brake line! I would have never guessed in a million years that there would be an issue with chain clearance on a 4X4 truck. After research found that 17 inch narrower wheels had just enough clearance so bought these wheels and put on winter tires.The clearance between the wheel and the caliper is close. Don't have an OEM 17 inch wheel so cant't compare against OEM. Was able to use the original lug nuts.

Looks and fits just like OEM wheels. Bought these for snow tires, but wheels are almost too nice to be just snow wheels.

The wheel was used for a second spare for my pickup. It was advertised as a replacement for my particular year, make and model. My concern when ordering was that there may be some dimensional differences you would not catch until you tried to put it on the truck. Took it to a local tire shop. Had them examine it before installing a new tire. They did not note any issues. This is nicely built and is an almost exact copy of the stock wheel. There is an almost imperceptible difference in the five outer slots just below the rim. The stock wheel has some extra dimpling around the slots. Like I said, imperceptible unless you know what to look for. Probably a necessary change to avoid patent lawsuits.

I bought these rims so that I could mount my winter tires on them. They are plain looking but do the job just fine. The tire form a good seal around the rim and do not leak.
