I really like the look and feel of this strap. Unfortunately, I will not be using it. The mechanism that connects the strap to the body of the watch are made of plastic. If you have a Pixel Watch, you know this is a bad idea. I personally do not trust plastic to keep the watch from falling off.

I like the clasp design on this watch. I've had a similar design in other watches, and it is very convenient to adjust as well as wear or remove. I wish the color matched the band, or maybe was silver instead, but that's a minor complaint.My main issue is the plastic bracket - the piece that attaches the silicon band to your watch body. In the watch's original band the bracket is metal. I think this band's plastic bracket is less secure. While doing the dishes today I brushed the watch against my clothing and something snagged. The band popped off and the watch dropped to the floor. At first I thought it was the magnetic clasp, but it turned out to be the band's connector to the watch body. Fortunately I had a rubber mat which broke the fall; otherwise it would've been watch on tile and not a pretty result.Its possible I hadn't secured the band properly for the past few days and was just lucky it didn't happen sooner. Still, I'm switching back to the OEM band with metal bracket. The convenience isn't worth it if the watch is lost or damaged due to falling off.

This is the best smart watch band ever compared with those ones I ever had. Just got it two days ago to replace the original band that comes with Pixel 2. It fits well and is easy to adjust.
