So I got these as a gift for my spouse and not only is she super happy with them but so am I. I recently started cooking more and these cutting boards are tremendous. The rubber style back keeps them still when cutting. Not that often you realize something as simple as a cutting board can be fancy but these are that indeed. The second i used one i was like "whoa this is really nice". I can't recommend these boards enough. They are fantastic! Do yourself a favor and pick up your own set today.

These cutting boards are fantastic! I like the different sizes because I don't always need a large cutting board to slice vegetables, but I like having a bigger one for breaking down large roasts. Also, the 2 piece set allows me to designate one for produce and one for meat.They are extremely sturdy and durable and have washed up easily. They fit in my lower cabinets either lying down or stacked on their side.

With a name like Sur la Table, I expect good quality, which is why I chose these cutting boards to replace my scratched-up old plastic ones. What I didn't expect was that these would quickly become the cutting boards I reach for whenever I have a mid-size vegetable chopping task in the kitchen.My initial tests seemed to indicate that they didn't stay put very well, despite the "non-slip" claims. But once I was actually using these boards for slicing up brussels sprouts, cutting bread for French Toast, and so forth, I found that they do stay in place very well while you'll working. This has been true both on my laminate counter top and on my butcher block island.Yes, the surface will scratch as you use a knife on it, but I kind of expect that to happen when I'm repeatedly attacking a plastic surface with a sharp object. What I love about the surface is that it seems to keep food in place fairly well as you're chopping or cutting, but doesn't have a texture that will catch onto all the chopped bits when you try to scrape them off.Hand washing is recommended, but the boards have done fine in my dishwasher occasionally, too.As long as you're okay with visible scratches on the board's surface after use, I highly recommend these cutting boards for your veggie chopping needs.

Apparently you're supposed to hand wash these - hand wash things don't survive at my house, so I've been throwing these in the dishwasher and they're fine. They've both gone through half a dozen washes so far with no noticeable effect.What did create a noticeable effect was putting a hot pan on them - they melt. That's on me though. Plastic will melt if you put hot things on it. Didn't ruin the board, just gave it character.Other than that, these are nice cutting boards as plastic cutting boards go. I like the grippy edges to prevent the board from sliding all over the place. The surface is slightly textured - enough to hold food in place, not enough to trap food particles. Over time, the surface will get sliced up by knives, but that's just part of the deal with plastic cutting boards. They're decently enough made that I'm not worried about that for a long while, though.
