Fantastic play kit
Everything is great quality. Much more affordable option that some other Montessori-style kits. Would definitely buy more if they had some for older ages!

Fantastic quality; car track is a favorite!
We broke this toy out for our almost-1-year-old son, and the race track (with the small cars) have quickly become one of his favorite toys! He enjoys the other toys as well, including the simple house puzzle (he is surprisingly quite good at putting the pieces back on the home!), but the race track and the cars are definitely his favorite. All of the toys are very well-built, with what seems like excellent wood quality. I was initially a bit worried about the size of the small cars, especially as our son puts everything to his mouth these days, but at least for him, he has stopped short of putting the entirety of the car in his mouth (he kind of chomps away at the wheels), so we have been letting him play with them (but under supervision). The race track is a lot of fun, watching the cars come down the track (admittedly, even for adults like me), and our son has actually become quite good at placing the car on the track himself as well, which seems like it is already helping with his fine motor skills. The included shape sorter and the books are also solid and add to the completeness of this set.Overall, we would recommend this product!

TERRIFIC QUALITY
I ordered four of these Montessori Boxes:- 13 - 15 months- 16 – 18 months- 19 – 21 months- 22 – 24 monthsLet's take a look at the 19-21 month kit, the first one I opened.I am very impressed with the quality. Everything is sturdy and well made, very much appropriate for little hands. That it is made in China is immediately evident; the book is bilingual. The children and scenes depicted are from China. Here is what you get:ITEM 1: THE BOARD BOOKThis “Hello and Goodbye” board book depicts a child going to Kindergarten. She says hello to various people she encounters, starting with the security guard (!) and the nurse. Her dad drops her off; her mom picks her up. Nearly everyone in the book is masked except when the girl is in the room with her teacher. The book is bilingual in English and Chinese. (I am not astute enough to say which Chinese language.) This is obviously a real plus for someone savvy enough to teach their very young children to be bilingual in English and Chinese, but only if you can read the characters. Regardless, multiculturalism is always a plus, and the sooner children learn that there are other people out there in the world, the better.ITEM 2: PIZZA PUZZLEThe pizza puzzle has three layers; it is made of wood. It starts with halves, moves into quarters, and then shows sixths. It's very sturdy, educational, and engaging. Kids do love playing with pretend food!ITEM 3: THE CHICKEN PUZZLEThis is my favorite item in the box. This chicken puzzle has three layers; it is made of wood. Remove the hen, and you see a chick. Remove the chick, and you see the egg. It's very clever.ITEM 4: MULTI-LOCK MAGIC TREASURE HOUSEWhile this item appears to be the centerpiece of the box, there is really not much to it. There is a lock on each of the four sides. Other opportunities are wasted. The top is permanently affixed and not engaging. But you can open the little doors and store treasures inside, so there's that. The house is made of wood.ITEM 5: LITTLE FACE MATCHING BOOKThis board book has you match the face to the emotion, but since the emotion is written on the left side of the page, there is really only ever one solution. The pages on the right are divided into three sections. This book is bilingual, and I am not impressed with it. It has a mirror towards the back and a spot for your child's photo.ITEM 6: COLOR MATCH BUTTON BOARDYou slide a card into the clear plastic board. Then your child positions colorful plastic buttons in the correct holes. It's an engaging activity, educational on a number of levels.ITEM 7: PARENT'S GUIDEThe parent's guide consists of cards on a ring. This item is monolingual in English. I found it a little challenging to move the cards along on the ring and overall a bit awkward to navigate. There are cards for each activity and more for additional activity suggestions. I did not read them all, but the cards appear to have been written in very fluent English, so no worries there.BOTTOM LINE: While I have obviously nitpicked a bit in this review, this is an incredibly good set with high-quality items, excellent for your child, a classroom, or as a gift.

Perfect
This play set is absolutely perfect for young developing minds. It has a Montessori theme with very basic, imagination inspiring features. Even older kids will get a kick out of it. All the gorgeous wooden pieces are expertly finished with smooth and safe corners and edges. The little car run is bigger than expected but a huge hit. I’m truly blown away at the high attention to detail and thought out age appropriate activities that come in this set. Would make a perfect gift! Great value for how many awesome handmade toys come in the set.

Expensive but well made Montessori toy
My child is about a year too young for this toy, but I wanted to purchase it anyway so I could stash it away for when she’s ready. However I wasn’t expecting it to be so large and so heavy. Unfortunately this is going to put a bit of a dent in my storage space. The different elements of this kit are made of high-quality wood and components. I think overall everything is well-made, but I don’t know that there’s enough of an assortment to keep my child occupied for long duration of time again, and again. I feel like my child will become bored of this very quickly, and given the high price point that will be extremely disappointing. Also, while I understand that it’s important to create products to appeal to multiple markets, it seemed a little strange to include a picture book with a child in a facemask on the cover. Maybe it’s just me, but I prefer not to dwell on our past and existing struggles with the pandemic i’m certainly don’t want to reminder on a child’s toy.The price of this kit seems extremely high given that I am unfamiliar with the brand. As mentioned it does seem to be a high-quality kit, but given the timeframe I expect my child to play with this, in my opinion, I don’t think it’s really worth the money.
