Effective, comfortable immobilization in an exceptionally well-made brace
Finally, the brace I have been looking for! If you want a brace that truly immobilizes the thumb (CMC joint, in particular), but is comfortable and doesn't actually aggravate the inflammation due to pressure on the tendon from the brace, THIS is your brace. It is very well made. The longer brace provides greater support and stability than most other (shorter) braces. That is great for me because I have both carpal tunnel syndrome and deQuervain's tenosynovitis in the same hand. I sleep in the brace and wear it when I don't actually need manual dexterity for any task. This is a brace for resting the tissue to allow healing. So, of course, the thumb and wrist are immobilized. I also have a weenie little thumb spica splint with plastic stays that provide a little support while I do tasks that require me to use my opposable thumb for tasks that require dexterity. But then I put this excellent, very supportive brace back on for comfort and healing. With the discount at the time, I bought this brace for an amazingly good price for such a nice brace. I did not get any reward for writing this review. But I am a physical therapist who really appreciates the benefits of an effective splint. BTW, remember that, if you need to wear a splint 24/7 and you wear the same one all the time, it is going to get skanky. It is a good idea to have a couple of braces to rotate and give them a chance to air out. It doesn't actually have to be two of the exact same brace, but you do want both braces to be effective.

Wonderful for people with deQuervain's Tenosynovitis
I got a new iPhone 16 Pro Max, which is much heavier than my old phone. Over the course of a few months it became very painful to use my left wrist and thumb. I asked my favorite doctor if it could be from holding the phone in my left hand much of the day. She did a few tests and told me that I have deQuervain's Tenosynovitis (inflammation of the tendon sheath) from the repetitive use. Using a Spica splint helped somewhat, but it was still very painful to try to hold the phone. I was concerned that building scar tissue on top of scar tissue was going to end up with my requiring surgery. But this phone holder is a total game changer! I can prop the phone in the holder on top of a book, a table, or a desk, and rarely need to hold it in my hand anymore. It has helped so much with the pain already that I have hope that I won't need to have surgery after all! I also use it to prop up books when I am reading. Very grateful for this solid and well built phone stand!

Definitely worth the money!
I sprained my wrist months ago and had tried a different brace and for some reason that one was making my wrist hurt more than when I put the brace on. But this one I have not had that problem at all even with wearing it for most of the day. I can actually wear it for a long period and take it off and feel that it has been helping allow my wrist to heal even after months of not doing anything more than pushing through the pain. I do recommend very much to measure your wrist to be sure you're getting the correct size. It's extremely comfortable while also providing great support. You do still get some range of movement so still able to function for most every day things. While it's more pricey than other braces definitely still a good price for the quality and the fact that it is a brace that also helps support the thumb.

Provided relief and stability
Great brace with FULL coverage. My pain comes from both underneath the wrist (like carpal tunnel) and on top of wrist and thumb (De Quervains). I've ordered other splints but they fell short and didnt give me the wrist support I was looking for. Then I stumbled onto this - at first I thought it was too big and I would look rediculous, but then when the pain starts fading and you remember that you cant "do that" with your hand because your massive brace is on, the size turns out to be perfect. So, yes - it is a big splint, but it's better than a cast! :-)

Very supportive
I love this glove, it's very supportive. I jammed my thumb at work which is why I needed it. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the steel bar that supports the shape of my hand, has began to slide out. I would suggest that you see the slot closed.

Needs adjustments but works & is comfortable
After going through 6 or 7 different types of brace for my arthritic hand this is the one that helped the most. It took several attempts to get the rods bent to the perfect setting but once I got there I hardly took it off, had to wash it once in a while. After a couple injections I could put it up, but I used it for well over a month and the tendon in my thumb was getting better.

Solid. Sturdy. Supportive.
I really like my Featol wrist brace. The material is solid, but not rigid. A lot of thought went into making this brace very comfortable yet providing solid support. The three Velcro straps allow you to make adjustments that are best for you. The Velcro straps allow for the thumb is very comfortable, too. I have an injury to my thumb that requires surgery and this wrist brace protects my hand well. I’m sure I’ll be using this post surgery, too.

It works as expected. But it’s not good to wear for an office job.
This does work to relieve the pressure on my double jointed thumb. I have injured tendons from hypermobility of a double jointed thumb. It absolutely helps it rest. But you cannot write with it if you’re right handed. It’s absolutely impossible. So it’s not a good Idea to wear during work. But I wear it on the weekends and at night to rest my tendons.
