I don't know the process, but can not make an Oolong Oriental beauty tea from pine needles regardless of the processing. I guess steeping anything does create a tea, but these are pine needles, not tea leaves.If you are interested in a pine needle tea, I guess it is OK. If you can identify trees, and live in an area with pine trees, pull off a few white pine needles, and you can eat them. That is the very faint taste of this "tea.". I let it steep a good 10 minutes, water hardly changed color, it is very weak after 10 minutes.If you want a pine needle "tea" I guess it is OK, but do not buy if you are looking for Oolong Oriental beauty tea.

I am a tea enthusiast and I like brewing loose teas. I did some research to find a decent oolong and I think this product is not the best but It's decent. The taste is smooth and mild, not as strong as Chinese oolong.

Same as what I had in Taiwan. I have been looking for comparable tea since that trip and this is it!

I normally avoid buying anything in tea bags, I always prefer loose tea leaves. But it has been very difficult to find some good Dong Fang Mei Ren, so I took a chance with this one, since I had gotten some other teas from Yan Hou Tang which were very good. And this turned out to be a happy choice. This Oriental Beauty white oolong is excellent, as good as any I have previously gotten from other sources. I am very satisfied with the quality of this Dong Fang Mei Ren, lovey aroma and superb flavor.

I brought the white oolong tea that was not oolong. In addition, this is a product of China that was not clearly stated on Amazon's website. The tea went straight into the trash. I am very disappointed with the seller who I believe tries to misguide consumers that the product is from Taiwan.

Definitely not an oolong. What I received tastes like a regular, high tannin, black tea.
