Rain Bird HE-VAN-15 10 Pack

I was looking for two solutions, with one nozzle. This one style nozzle is the solution. The regular rain bird nozzles I have work okay, and can be adjusted, however these take it to an entirely new level. The other problem I had was a bit more misting. These throw a larger droplet, and it’s very easy to adjust degree of throw. Worth the migraine it took looking through reviews, and the monumental variety of styles even within the same brand, the 3 major brands themselves, as well as reputation. Unfortunately these are not available in any big box, or brick and mortar stores nearby, so ordered online. Very good nozzles, work as advertised, and I’m replacing all my lawn pop up nozzles with these.

Just finished replacing front and back yard nozzles with these RB HE VAN 15's, they replaced rain bird standard 12's, and i must say, I'm glad i went up to 15's, as other reviewers have mentioned, the 15's worked perfect. West Group delivered quickly, and gave me what i needed to get my system a good tune up. These HE nozzles have a denser spray, with bigger droplets, so I know I will need to adjust less on watering times.

Very good spray nozzles but like the other reviews it does not spray as far as you'd expect. I have many spray nozzles from Rainbird and this 15' ARC is equivalent to the their other 12' ARC. It is highly adjustable and sprays larger water droplets to help in breezy conditions. I like that it has a close in spray radius as well. Your radius will greatly depend on the water pressure available at the head which is affected by the design of the irrigation system, number of heads on the zone and water pressure. I have my irrigation system regulated to 55PSI with no more than 6 -8 heads on a zone. Good luck!

OK so haven't been paying attention and didn't know Rain bird had 360 degree adjustable insert tips for pop-ups. Now granted more expensive then fixed angle heads but as a home owner who only does this when the damn things get run over by the mower paying a little more for complete adjustability is a no brainer. Great product, and best of all the next time (and you know there will be one) you have to dig in the sprinkler parts box you definitely want to find these in your hand. Buy it. Too bad they won't sell an assortment pack of 8,10,12,25 spray diameters.

Range is shorter than other nozzles by same company with same distance rating i.e. 15 ft is more like a 10 foot. Not a pressure or flow issue because the nozzle it replaced easily made the speced 15ft throw.The larger droplet size and variable droplet throw provides better coverage and efficiency.

Noticed I had some standard rainbird heads on my sprinklers that I could not adjust to prevent runoff. Where I live, water-wise is very important and enforced. I was able to adjust everything perfectly, and I even noticed the slightest breeze no longer affects it either! No more runoff!
