Light weight, easy to use protection for your bike.
Light weight and easy to carry. I have several of these locks. I keep some attatched to my various bikes so I am never without. I took a 60 inch lock with me while traveling in Europe. Keeping lugage weight down is essential, so no one wants to sacrifice 5 pounds to a lock. But no one wants their precious bicycle stolen either. I could lock my bike nearly anywhere while visiting museums, shopping or sight seeing. Is this a cheap lock? No. But would you trust your bike's safety to a cheap lock? I don't think so. And I like that I can set my own combination code.

Secure, Strong and light. What else would you want?
Fabulous lock. It is quite light and very strong. Certainly I would not lock up an out of eye sight $5,000 bicycle but it give one great confidence when you stop at the coffee shop or run in to mail a package. While it's venerability it to snips few petty thieves have those. I bought one for my son so he can lock his bike while at school and it is easy for him to operate. I would highly recommend it.

Garbage
I know what you are thinking - yea there are tons of bad reviews stating the cable can be cut in 2 seconds, and the lock gets jammed and stuck, but it couldn't be that bad right? I'll just give it a try..... Yea well you'll be wasting your time. Of course you can get your money back. But I'm telling you it's garbage quality. And not just because it can be easily cut through. That didn't matter to me. Actually maybe you should just go ahead and try it so you can also be super inconvenienced and leave a bad review and this company will finally be driven off Amazon and the face of the retail world. Because the product is that bad. I had this thing out of the box it came in for less than 5 minutes when I knew it was being returned. The first thing you will notice is that the locking mechanism is complete garbage. Super flimsy. The numbers don't align well. There isn't really a line to tell you where to align the numbers. They sort of align half way between the spot they are supposed to be in and the next spot. Where do they go? It's total chaos and garbage quality. Well I immediately tried resetting the combo from the default 000 combination. I followed the instructions exactly and when I inserted the cable into the lock afterwards it would not come back out. And never did so again. I'm not going to go on and on. This product is terrible. And WAY overpriced. And VERY EASY to cut (see other reviews and videos). It can be snipped with $5 clippers. But you know what - the price and the ease at which it can be cut was ok with me. I was going to use this for my OneWheel when in bars and restaurants and the OneWheel was nearby me. I wanted it just so someone can't grab it and run. So I bought it. I'm an idiot. Should have believed the reviews.

The perfect lock
I carry my Hexband lock wherever I go. It’s small, easy to pack in my jersey pocket and due to its design, I know when I stop in to grab a coffee, my bike will be there. It’s a great choice for anyone who needs a compact, reliable, and strong lock for those short breaks during a long ride!

better than a zip tie... actually no
... but it *looks* more secure than a zip tie and that's what really matters, in the right environment. This lock can *easily* be removed just by pulling it apart with bare hands. I can't say that about most zip ties, even the little ones. But it's visible, orange, and says "my bike is locked up" but you know it isn't. Will the "thieves" know? Probably. But it does signal to them that someone cares, just enough, about their bicycle to present it as "locked".

Not Just for bicycles
Use this more with my 3 wheeler an a bicycle .Works great to lock up your helmet and stop someonefrom rolling it away easily if gone for a while. The no scratch rubber is a bonus and loops easily to rail for storagewhen riding .
