These are nicely painted wooden blocks that are shaped to resemble rocks. Since there are 60 in the box, there are plenty to share with multiple children. The box itself is a nondescript brown cardboard box, but all is revealed once it is opened. My plan was to include a photo with 6 or 7 neatly stacked cairns, but as I was attempting to place one final block on one of them, disaster struck. The included photo is probably more realistic anyway.The blocks are smooth, and the paint is neatly applied.

These came as described and as depicted, although maybe their colors were slightly muted from what you see in the photos. But I will say that they are of a pretty good quality! Indeed, I think these are well-made and compare well to some of the name-brands that make similar products. Yes, these aren't perfect and some have paint drips on the side of them, but honestly we don't consider that a huge defect here. They are a good price and really are kind of fun to play with, even as an adult! Our toddler likes to see how high he can get them, and there are different sizes and shapes that are fun. Overall, I think we were pleasantly surprised by these and we would recommend them! Gifting wise, they don't come in a nice box, so that is a little disappointment. But great for your own use!
