Guys and girls who are having problems with inserts and splitting. Just don’t waist your time with the inserts they sell for these.Go right to three rivers archery and get the ethics 203. Adjustable Insert outset with sleeve 0.272 outside diameter. They sell them in 3 packs, No splitting no issues cut to the chase. Hope this helps. Remember tolerance is tight you will have to sand a little or order.276 sleeve with no sanding.

Good quality arrows.

Have been using CX arrows for decades and all the shafts I have used over the years have work fine. I just started using the Red SD 400’s and like them. I’ve been making my own arrows too for decades and have not had a problem making up the new SD’s. I’ve hit wood, rocks, metal stakes and have not had a arrow split or half out break or came out.

I purchased a box of Carbon Express Maxima Red SD 350's and liked how they shot. Purchased another identical box, cut the arrows and went to install the half-outsert's and noticed they were a lot longer. The originals weigh 44 grains and the new ones are 54 grains. The arrows are also heavier with more gpi than the original.

These are terrible hunting arrows I shot two deer with two different arrows and both arrows shattered when they hit the tilled up dirt lost 40$ worth of these arrows and then 2 broad heads. Terrible buy they shatter right where the insert is. Terrible durability waste of money don’t buy for hunting.
