Q: Is this product a better option for pet sunscreen than actual sunscreen?

That depends on your intended use of the product. If your dog has a dry, crusty nose it would probably be better to use our Snout Soother. If you're simply looking for a sunscreen, Snout Soother is a good option but provides only an SPF 9.

Q: Works great for my dog's discoid lupus nose, but the last two cans I received have white balls in the mix. Is this usual?

Mine get that way after a while. I don’t know why. I just get rid of that and use normal stuff. I guess it gets crystallized or something. I do t know.

Q: Does this product work as sunscreen as well as an actually sunscreen for humans?

I don't believe this product has any sunscreen in it, but I buy My Dog Nose it which is an awesome sunscreen that we used for dog who had Lupus.

Q: Does this really remove keratin hairs revealing soft skin underneath?

In the case of my English Bulldog, his nose looks extremely rough with flaking skin, within 3 days of applying only once per day there was probably a 90% improvement, I wish that I had known about this product years ago with my first Bulldog who had the same problem.
