These boots are so comfortable and well made. They have a fantastic thick sole and are perfect for any tough workman out there wanting a good quality boot. The toe caps are steel and supportive and they are slip resistant and waterproof too. Im definately ordering another pair when these do wear out, which i have a feeling will be a good few years time the way they're made.

These are great work boots and I can't believe the price!! Surprisingly comfortable for work boots. Very well-made and durable. They are especially easy to get on an off because the opening spreads out much wider than other boots. No more struggling to pull off my boots or having to use a shoehorn to get them on. I love the waterproof feature. I can walk through deep puddles without worrying about getting my feet wet. The sole has a great tread that is slip-resistant and has great grip on slick or wet surfaces. I got these for working in my large yard that has a lot of trees. I am continually cutting down trees or large branches and I wanted something with steel toes in case a large branch lands on my foot. These boots will be my go-to work boots for years to come. I can wear them all day and my feet feel good at the end of the day.

I ordered size 12 in this typhoon boot version for my nephew who has problems getting work shoes due to his size.They came really well packaged with a lot of attention to detail, the makers are clearly very proud of their product.This is what he said after using them:It took a few days to “wear them in” where they became more supple and shaped to the feet. Having worn them for several days during some very wet and cold days they have been comfortable while doing various jobs outside and have proven to be waterproof.There is a decent level of cushioning all round that made them feel comfortable and the grip was assured.They are fairly weighty though and he does take them off docky break and after a long day on his feet he’s glad to get them off but on the plus side he says he can live with that in terms of the protection offered.The sole had a decent amount of grip when walking over uneven surfaces such as brick and rubble on site as well as on smoother surfaces. They do offer mid sole puncture protection too as well as toe caps, so should prevent nail penetration as well.On that subject they conform to EN ISO 20345:2022 S3 SR standards which means they meet the required standard for safety shoes which amongst other things must protect the toes against a 200 joule impact, have corrosion resistant toe caps and slip resistance too. This is a health and safety requirement for him on site for footwear.I tried them on myself and they look and feel absolutely bomb proof! They really are a substantial and a well built boot.As mentioned they do have a fair bit of weight to them though, weighing 1.889 kilograms on my digital kitchen scales, slightly heavier than the weight of my winter walking boots but not too bad.He’s very happy with them in terms of style, performance and comfort.They’re not that cheap though at the current price (£59.99 at the time of the review) but are comparable to a similar spec available at a well known trade outlet. They are heavier than some, so lose a star. That said they for him they have been very comfortable and do the job well especially over cold and wet days on site.
