If you just need a quick ip66 junction box for outside lights or something of that nature, then this will do the trick. It has rubber membrane for pushing your cables through, but you can't use glands, so that' a big downside for some jobs. It also does not have a lockable lid, it is quite stiff to push on. Hopefully, it will be difficult to remove once in place.There is no quick fit clip supplied with this box either, so you will need to drill through the back of the box, losing any waterproofing you had to begin with. The area where the screw passes through the box is shielded and there's a matching area on the lid, but neither have a seal on them. It's not a big deal, but something to be aware of if you need it to be water tight.Overall build quality is not as good as on the 308 boxes, much thinner plastic. On here, the difference in price between the 308 and this one is about £1, you would be better off going for the 308 every time for ease of fit and the ability to use glands and a fast fit clip.

Unfortunately the connection block was missing so item was returned, a bit disappointed however got same item cheap from CEF trade counter..
