Dove Men+Care 2-in-1 Shampoo + Conditioner Sandalwood & Cardamom Oil for Thick & Full Hair, + Vitamin B3 & Mineral Complex, 17.5 oz

I normally don’t use 2-in-1’s because they dry the heck out of my scalp and lead to dandruff like dry scalp. And I’m a lover of all things Sandalwood, so when I saw this interesting plant based/infused 2-in-1 with a sandalwood scent I had to try it. WOW! Not only is the scent to die for, but the lather and ease of cleaning is phenomenal! And the best part, after the shower and dried, there is 0 dry scalp anywhere! Keeps your scalp actually moisturized. Super inexpensive very few “harmful” chemicals compared to most brands in this price range. And definitely a great value IMO. I’ve now gotten the entire line of Sandalwood products that Dove + Men Care make now. The bar soap, the body wash, shampoo+conditioner, the spray on AND stick DEO. I love it and they’ve now made it into my “Amazon essentials”. I do wish they had a sandalwood whole body deodorant similar to the Viking Revolution Sandawlood EDT but in a spray on from. Absolutely love this 2-in-1 got it in my subscribe and save rotation every three months from now on.

Good shampoo and conditioner! Works well and smells good.

I love the clean sandalwood fragrance. It’s also really gentle on hair, maybe too gentle. I wish it kept my hair clean for more than one day, but for those who shampoo with everyday showers, it’s probably perfect. The fragrance is very natural, but subtle and doesn’t last long.

While this stuff does clean and provides a very nice, thick lather, I can't help but feel like I smell too much.The scent def sticks around for a while. I honestly feel like I smell like a hippy. It has a very patchouli scent, very musky, I didn't realize the sandalwood scent would be so powerful but I've never had sandalwood anything before. It smells nice in the bottle.I've gone to work in the last few days of using it and at least one or two people have commented on the smell, saying "it stinks in here". I guess some people are pretty disappointed in the scent. Personally I think it's a little overpowering. There might be a point in my life that I'd be alright to smell like this but I've probably got another 10-15 years.

Smells good, we get it on repeat now for my husband.

[TLDR]-( Excellent product for guys who sweat all day and want a clean good smelling head of hair without drying you out or leaving your hair greasy)...So, I've been trying for some time to find a shampoo/conditioner that did the job of getting my hair clean and not leaving my hair either super dried out from being shampoo heavy or greased up feeling because the conditioner is to heavy while also being sulfate and paraben free. I shower daily, but I've always tried to only shampoo my hair maybe 3 times a week so I'm not removing all the good oils from my hair. I work outside now and I'm in the sun from 7am to 5pm in Alabama heat 5 days a week and I sweat buckets of water everyday, so I have to shampoo my hair daily when I shower to remove the funk , that is me lol. This product does the job of getting me clean without drying me out or feeling greased up and also has a wonderful smell that's not heavy or overpowering, but it's there and I can smell it from time to time throughout the day. It's a very clean and warm smell, that's the best I can come up with to describe it. It's 100% a masculine smell, not fruity or sweet, very unique. My wife loves the way it smells, wich is rare for her as she is very particular about how the man who lays beside her all night smells 😅 I would recommend this to anyone who sweats for a living and likes a more organic experience when it comes to hair care.
