Gardena Hose Connector with Control Valve for 19mm (3/4") Hoses: Connection Part for Changing The Water Pressure and Shut-Off The Water Flow, use Between Hose and Device (2943-20)

The Gardena connector with control valve offers a function that Hozelock does not. The Hozelock Stop connector does work and you can change sprinklers etc without getting soaked, but when you've finished and gone to turn the tap off you have to walk back to the business end to depressurise the hose or take a chance on a drenching when you take the hose off the tap. This Gardena unit has a tap on it. when you've finished with the hose and disconnected your device you can just crack the tap open, enough to release a dribble. This time, when you turn the tap off, there's no blast and you can simply start to coil the hose. Sounds trivial perhaps - but when you have a very steep garden its worth every penny! Quality seems excellent. I was tempted to knock one star off for being expensive, but then so are Hozelock these days and they haven't seen fit to offer this much control. It's very easy to use, but required a bit of effort to properly seat the Hozelock hose end in it but it went in the end. Worth the struggle IMO!

I purchased this to use with my Karcher K7 which stipulates not to use a one-way valve. I have a new Hozelock Hose system, https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0036147L8?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details, but the Garden is a tad larger than standard and made it very hard to get it onto the hose which has a smaller internal diameter. I have now replaced it with, https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08TLPHY4M?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details, which fits as it should and came with additional connectors for a few pounds less. The Gadena is a good Item and sturdy which I suspect would fit a Gardena hose OK. All in all, a good connector but be aware of the center connection being a tad bigger than others.

I've bought several connecters to swap the hose to use the spray gun and power washer. They always break so I paid more for this Gardenia product. Straight away I could see it was a far more solid and quality product. It's so much easier as well as I can stop the water supply without having to go back to the tap. Early days but I expect this to be far better value for money.

Preso per sostituirne uno guasto, Gardena non delude mai, prodotto perfetto e che denota molta robustezza; la valvola si apre e chiude con molta precisione, anche i vari accessori si fissano alla perfezione senza che esca nemmeno una goccia d'acqua. consigliato!

安物を買うといつもすぐ壊れ使い物にならないのでこちらの商品を購入してみました。質感等は良い感じでしたがなぜか接続すると横から水が漏れてきました、２種類試しましたがどちらも同じ結果。合う合うわないがあるのかな？

Llevo mas de cuarenta años con mangueras de jardín en casa. Utilice todos los sistemas: Lanza, pistola, etc. Ahora las tengo con la llave de corte de Gardena al final de la manguera y a ésta conectada la lanza regulable de dispersión de agua. DEJE DE MOJARME AL ABRIR EL GRIFO. Abro la llave cuando estoy en la zona a regar y giro la lanza únicamente para la dispersión del agua. Cuando acabo cierro la llave y cambio de ubicación. Tiene la ventaja sobre la pistola, que no tienes que estar apretando la palanca.

Molto pratico. Qualitativamente ben fatto. Lo consiglio a tutti
