GORE WEAR M Men's Short Sleeved Baselayer, Gore Windstopper

This shirt will keep you drier than any other fabric, however you will not feel cold air from the wind on the descent. I don't know why I have been suffering for so long on my rides. If the day is cold, I use this and another more colored shirt on top. It is good on MTB rides where I alternate ups and downs, and when it is time to come down, it used to become miserable. No more. It feels tight, but I notice it mostly when putting it on.

They used to have a long-sleeve version with a mesh back, and mesh along the under-arm. It was great for fall soccer, hiking, and biking. The new offering is just a t-shirt style, but it still helps to cut that bone-chilling wind during evening practices, with the additional benefit of keeping the torso dry where it counts (good water resistance for the shoulder and front areas). It's light weight, and fits 5'4" and 5'8" slim athletes as a size small (loose for the shorter one, and fitting for the taller one). This has worked out to be a better alternative to keep warm compared to the under-armour and nike base layers (which only insulate, but don't block the wind/water). I highly suggest the Gore base-layers. This is the third one purchased since we like it that much.

Great product, works as expected. Only issue, and this is on me, can shrink some if you mistakenly place in dryer. Don't be like me.

I love everything about this base layer except the fit is bigger than expected. I bought this same one a few years ago and it was snug, which is great for cycling. This time it is looser. I am 5-11 and 170lbs and ordered a medium.

Awesome awesome awesome shirt. I can wear just this and a jersey down to 45 degree weather at 24mph clip and still be comfortable. I wear a large in most clothes and had to go with XXL for this shirt for a snug fit.

Fits well. Keeps the wind out and heat in.

Snug fit in my usual size. I sweat more than most when cycling, but this top helps to wick the bulk of it to the outside. Good against light wind without wearing anything over the top. It can definitely be worn on its own, and looks good. Idealy worn under a jersey. Quality is very good.

Buen producto, de calidad perfecto para andar en bicicleta los días de frío ya que protege del aire perfectamente. Pedí una talla Mundial y me quedaba algo grande para mi gusto ya que para andar en bici prefiero ropa ajustada. La cambie por una S y perfecto. Mido 178 y peso 70kg con 96 de pecho

Egal ob zum Laufen oder Biken, ganz toller Baselayer, guter Feuchtigkeitstransport und der Wind wird gut gestoppt und kühlt den Oberkörper nicht aus. Für Gore fällt es groß aus, XXL wurde empfohlen, XL passt besser obwohl ich einen kräfigen Oberkörper habe. Wenns hauteng ist, funktioniert es auch besser.

Adepte de running, je l’utilise en première couche (quand j’en met plusieurs bien sur🤔), le produit est excellent comme souvent chez Gore, je regrette juste que l’arrière soit aussi respirant ... car le vent ne vient pas que de face :) j’aurais préféré quelque chose de moins aéré car au final cela reste un sous vêtement donc que l’on va utiliser pour temps frais. Jusqu’à 10 degrés (venteux) avec un maillot technique manche longue (Raidlight hiver) et un petit gilet sans manche (gore qui est aussi aéré dans le dos) c’est ok, en dessous c’est limite pour moi à cause du dos, je ressens le froid. A voir avec la version manche longue Thermo :)
