The best book for ADHD!!
I was hoping I would like and appreciate this book as a resource to learning more about my new diagnosis. Thankfully, I do! There are soooo many books out there for ADHD, and this one may just be my favorite at this point. She applies all the material in the book to her own life. So, it has a memoir feel to it. I like that. It helps to have applied examples, and her writing style is personal and filled with appropriate emotion because it is so important to her, personally. It doesn't feel like a text book. It feels like a friend is teaching you all about your brain. It is very cozy and pleasant, which is great for ADHD'ers :) I am thankful Jessica chose to try this life path, and I am grateful for her time spent writing this tremendous and BIG written resource for ADHD brains. Thank you~ :)

A Toolbox with Tools to live with ADHD that actually work
Where to start? 'This book is awesome' start many a book reviews.Nonethelss, this book really is great.I can tell. I have an ADHD brain myself and I've read a cartload of books on Neurodiversity. Most are average to middling and are merely 'not helpful' .Science literature, straight or condensed into sciency books (*) are often written about us in a very one dimensional and flat perspective. These frequently fail to realise there are actual people with lives involved. This book however is really helpful in real life situations. It's written by Jessica, an ADHD brain, who was in fact diagnosed with ADHD when young, but still struggled. In order to overcome the daily challenges she delved into the literature and talke to many specialists. She started a Youtube channel 'How To ADHD' to store that information. And after 7 years this book is the result.Clearly, not for the sake of writing a book. But for the sake of sharing the many ways of living an ADHD life. You see, medicaiton doesn't 'fix us', since we're not broken. Medication helps many? or some (not me for instance), but the ADHD is not gone. We still need to navigate this world. We surely can have as full a life as anyone can have. Maybe very different than the average, but these lives are most certainly not less or broken. This book truely offers a toolbox with many a tools to navigate the neurotypical world. It's even printed in such a way that it's more accessible to ADHD readers. (Brains). And if I'm guessing correctly, for many this will become a much leafed work book. It's also a very important book for those living with a person (Hearts) with ADHD brain (Brains).Jessica's personal stories, and the many testimonials of other Brains clearly illustrate how we experience this world. A world that is not designed to let us be the best we can be. Quite the contrary, this world often brings out the worst in us. And as I see it, this world isn't much designed to bring the best out of anybody. This will help you understand what the ADHD brain is facing.Anyway, this book is definitely one I will be recommending. I'll probably order a few more and hand them out. I think I'll drop one off at the local library.Thank you very much for writing this book Jessica!Koen (AuDHD)

Good Book but Poor Quality
I was very excited to receive this book. I specifically ordered the hardcover version because I expected it to look nice longer and not be creased over time. However, I was very disappointed when I received the book with a cheap too loose paper cover that was already wrinkled because it was packed loosely in the Amazon box. Also everything is only printed in black and white. It feels like a cheap photocopied version of the book it should have been.
