Don't remember the actual weight but it is HEAVY. It includes one tiny metal bracket, but I did not trust it in sheetrock so I used two brackets that I already had into studs.

In the box, unassembled, this piece is pretty heavy. It might require two people to carry it. Once assembled, I am able to scoot it to clean around and behind it. I use this piece in my kitchen primarily as a spice cupboard so it not loaded with real heavy stuff except on the very top shelf which is holding large glass pieces but I would feel comfortable filling a shelf with heavier items such as books. I have been very pleased with the functionality and appearance of this piece of furniture especially for the price.

Q: What are the size of the handles? I really like this, but I can't stand the silver handles and want to make sure I can buy a replacement.
