This is a great printer for anyone wanting to be able to print Straight Out of the Box
This is a fantastic printer. I am actually going to be adding more of these to my printer lineup. I like the fact that they are enclosed and I can print Asa, abs, tpu, pc, petg, TPU, pla and carbon fiber filaments. Comes with .4 and .6 nozzles. Quick and easy swap out of nozzles. Only thing that I would change would be print a side spool holder versus the one that comes on the back of it. Touch screen works great love the fact that it auto bed levels. Virtually zero assembly. With the lid down you do have some noise but no different than any other printer. I would highly recommend this product

Very good easy to use 3d printer
Awesome product. Took like 10 minutes to set up and was printing in half an hour. Done 10 prints so far on it with zero issues. Definitely recommend

Just WOW! Best printer I have used yet.
One year UPDATE:Still working flawlessly. I would recommend this printer to anyone, especially for a first time user. This is a great printer.Well, I have to say I am very impressed with this little guy. Since I had been using a 2019 printer of a different brand, with a much larger footprint, when I downsized to this one, I was not expecting the print quality that I am seeing.Pros: Small footprint, was up and running in under 10 minutes, all metal frame, X,Y,Z axis, nice controller once you get used to it, has handled all types of PLA so farCons: Small build limit, not crazy about a filament feed tube, no auto shutoff (the Pro version has it for a couple hundred dollars more), it continued to try to print with an empty feed due to a tangle (but only on the loose sample, never on rolls), I couldn't get it to connect to our wi-fi, but I didn't try the 2.4g extender, only the 5g mesh router. So far, the learning curve was easy. I had a printer before, so that may have helped a lot. But I think the biggest hurdle is always the new software. This particular printer does best with the recommended Orca Slicer. I either download STL files from Thingiverse or make my own STL files from Fusion 360. I import them into Orca Slicer and size and tweak as needed. Then slice the plate, and export to g-code to a memory stick. That then goes into the control panel on the printer itself. Very easy to get to, it's at the top front of the printer. It's now printing a 12+ hour job and I'll try to post it when it finishes. Aside from these prints in the photos, I have only done a tiny sample tugboat and it came out very smooth.

Can’t beat it for the money
I’ve been poking at 3D printers for over a decade. I’m coming from a liquid resin printer and was looking to get away from the mess of that. I debated a lot between this and the much more expensive silver one. I was willing to spend the extra to have a printer I can trust to churn out parts without constant oversight. Very happy I saved the money and bought the flashforge. Excellent prints out of the box, lots of support online for tuning, orca works well enough with it.Fast, quiet, and reliable. Follow the instructions to let the machine do its calibrations and huck a print job at it. You won’t be disappointed. The parts even come out dimensionally accurate(within reason). The ability to stack some shapes in tinkercad and have a functional jig or bracket in 30min is irreplaceable.

There is no quality control or testing done
I received this printer on Feb 14th and through the holiday weekend I spent probably 24 working hours troubleshooting and trying to diagnose issues with this printer. I've attempted to use orca, cura, and flashprint, and none of them provided consistent results.Print success rate - My print success rate with this printer was probably 10%, with 90% of prints failing. I've auto leveled, vibration tested, manually leveled using the paper method, tried 4 different filaments (all PLA), modified probably 20-30 different settings at least 20 times each. Nothing I did would get the filament to extrude consistently across the bed. The bed also bowed up in the middle, so when the 4 corners were level the middle would scrape.Print quality - The print quality was actually really good, and quick when the print would work. I came away with some decent small prints, but could not successfully print anything taller than 20mm.Adhesion - I attribute a lot of my adhesion problems to the uneven first layers due to horrible extrusion, but unless I used a brim with everything, the print would eventually warp in 1 of the corners and eventually either fail or have terrible print quality. Some prints the hot end would eventually iron out the surface and it would succeed, but would have an uneven base.Build quality - The build quality was solid, it felt very sturdy, and built like a tank with only the base being plastic. My printer did develop a buzzing sound when moving along both x and y axis.Overall I can not and refuse to recommend this printer. Despite the good print quality, if I have to troubleshoot after every print and only 1 in 10 succeed then print quality really means nothing.Check the reddit for flash forge and the new 5m printers, my experience is not uncommon. Some youtubers are raving about it, and maybe they received a good unit, but the inconsistency with this product is awful, and you're taking a big gamble if you purchase one.

Awesome Printer, but wifi is no good
I love this printer itself. I have an Ender 3 Pro and leveling was a pain to do all the time. With this, it is pretty much plug and play. Quieter, faster and easier.Only complaint is that even thought this is in the same room as one of my wireless accesspoints (getting -53dbm), it keeps disconnecting from the network, so right now, I cannot just upload over the network. I have to put on usb and then print from the machine. It does have ethernet, so I am try that, but wireless should be working better.**UPDATE - 2024-12-19**I have even setup ethernet to the printer still facing the same issues. Flash Print (5.8.7 version) is working now with no problems, but other software has a problem. In discussions with support, they believe it is the Flashforge server software on the printer itself and they have sent it to their software development team. Leaving this at 4 stars until this can be rectified.
