Works as intended, good quality paste

I was kind of scary about using this stuff. The concept is really great though. Thermal pads are honestly garbage. This stuff, though quite messy, is just fundamentally better for thermal conductivity because, as a fluid, it does a far better job of making contact with your hardware. FAR better. This tube was barely enough to install my GPU block (which require many thermal pads, for the uninitiated. I was pretty careful about applying it and I ran out just before i got everything covered. There was enough "oversquirt" to finish with a bit that i scraped from elsewhere. It seriously was exactly enough for GPU block that included backplate. Installing a waterblock to replace air will render these results kind of irrelevant, but pay attention to the VRAM and VRM because the GPU has something else on it. Here are the comparisons: stock xfx 6800xt merc 319 that idled like this: core-49ish, vram-53, VRM-49/ under load: core-73C, vram-66C, VRM-65C liquid cooled(idle): core-28C, vram-38C, VRM-36C / stress test: core-36, vram-50, vrm-50 remember, that's air to liquid, the only results that are potentially relevant to you as a customer are VRAM and VRM because that's where this product is installed. these results are skewed somewhat by how much cooler the core will stay, it will not shed as much heat into the surrounding components.

Good as expected

My old thermal paste was getting hard and crusty leading to high vram temperatures so I replaced it with this stuff and absolutely nothing changed. Waste of money.

only complaint is that it is almost impossible to eliminate the air pocket between the plunger and the paste in the syringe

Replaced old thermal pads and it works great! I had my doubts!
