ITEM: 4 Pack of Glass Wall Hanging Planters (Oblate)PROS:- The fact that they’re glass alone is a huge pro for me; I can’t stand the plastic. They’re quite strong, and I’m not worried about breakage.- The larger size makes for a gorgeous wall accent. They make an impact without stealing the show. I think I’ll be using pothos in them.- They come with white hanging hooks, they’re easy install with minimal marking (the hammer-in prongs that seem popular nowadays).NEUTRALS:- The hanging hole is a little lower than I would like, and the top opening a little smaller, but neither of these are an actual issue.CONS:- None.PACKAGING/GIFTABILITY: (All of my packages are sent with Prime Delivery Day and manufactor’s packaging preference selected. This may impact how things are shipped and cause my packaging experience to differ from yours.) They came in a plain cardboard box with no branding or item indication. They were set in custom cut styrofoam with each vase in a thin plastic bag. I believe they’re directly giftable with no gift wrap necessary.WOULD I PURCHASE?: Absolutely! I wanted some small hanging planters to use for rooting houseplant cuttings, so I decided to try these. Mostly I really like them, but there is one small thing that bugged me. Here's what I like & dislike + tips for hanging them.Dislike/room for improvement:* The hanging hole isn't consistent across the set, so some hang lower than others when mounted. The difference is apparent in the two images i included of empty containers.* No instructions included, so might require returning to the product page to understand how to mount the hanging hooks properly.* Hanging hooks are ugly & white. On a non-white wall, they might stand out if plants are just getting started.What I like:* The set came with 5 hanging hooks. Although they're really quite ugly, they're easy to install. But it would be easy to break the hook while hammering, so having an extra one in the box was a nice bonus.* Easy to hang the glass planter on the hooks and remove them to fill, wash, etc...What might help with hanging:* Because I wanted all four to hang in a straight line, I needed a level to get them this way. However, because the planters holes aren't all exactly the same, the hook shows more on some than the other. And the bottom of the hole is lower on some than on others. That means less water can go into the ones with lower hanging holes.What might help with filling:* Adding pebbles? Do that first, before hanging or adding water or plants.* Add water & fit in plant cuttings before hanging on the wall. I tried to pour in water first while they were hanging on the wall, and it was difficult. I managed to pour some water on the wall.With a few little fixes to make them more consistent, I'd likely up these to 5 stars.Might order more to give as gifts.

I've been looking for some glass planters for quite a while now and feel like I can give some good feedback on these. First of all the biggest issue I had finding glass wall planters is the cost! The cost for some of these planters is outrageous, whereas this set was PERFECT, especially for getting 4 planters. My intention was to put these in a nursery, even though they are glass - but with the way these are hung on the way, I feel entirely confident they will stay where they need to and I won't have to worry about anything falling. Like others mentioned, the holes on the back of the planters can be slightly off so that is something to look at while hanging them if your intention is to keep everything level. The other thing is that the white hooks don't look great with the planters, so if you have a few plants it may be difficult to obstruct the hooks so they aren't seen. I haven't quite figured out what to do with that yet, but I figured I have two options - add more plants so it's no noticeable, or paint the hooks the same color as the light pink walls.

I ordered these glass planters for making small moss terrariums - they are going to work well for this.The glass planters are flat on the backside and have a hole in that side that you can use to hang the planter on the wall. Wall hangers are included, or you can use a nail or screw you might already have in the wall to hang the planter.The planters have an opening at the top that allows you to use the planter as a vase, as shown in the item description photos. Since I'll be using these planters for terrariums, I've 3D printed a lid to fit this opening to seal the planters. I do wish these planters came with a silicone lid for this purpose.The glass used for the planters is a medium weight glass - not very heavy, but not overly thin. It works well in this application.I'm happy with the planters and look forward to finishing my moss terrariums. I do recommend them!
