It balances your guitar and takes away shoulder fatigue.
For me it was a game changer for heavy bass guitars. The only thing thing I didn't care for much is it rubs the neck. This is not a problem if you wear a shirt with a collar. I tuck mine like a tie. It's a very good product.

Needs work
There should be something to spread the strap away from your neck, so it doesn't ride up and pinch your jugulars, and the damn snap in front is way under-engineered. Unreliable, it will unsnap with any slight movement.

Good for your back, bad for instruments
It did help my shoulder problems. However, before I got this strap, I’ve never, in 10 years, managed to rip the strap button out of an instrument. In the last six months, I’ve done it twice, both times with this strap. I now have a broken off screw inside my main bass. Throwing this strap away.

It has really helped my shoulder
This strap has really helped take the pressure off my bad shoulder. It makes my guitar sit at a better angle when I stand and play. I don't twist my body so much when I sit and play. The only problem I had with it is that the minimum length it goes to is still a bit too big for me. But I have fixed that problem with a couple of safety pins. I do have to keep tightening the straps up more often than my last strap but it's not often enough to annoy me. Where the straps cross around the neck can get a bit sharp. I suppose that's just the material used. Or maybe because I have it tighten up to the max. But apart from that my shoulder thanks the makers of this product. If you made one with a different material and size adjustment and charged extra for the cost. I'd happily buy one. It really has saved my shoulder. My guitar feels lighter and I don't have to stop playing because my shoulder hurts. Thanks.

Dare to Buy This Strap
I actually discovered this strap accidentally in perusing the US Patent site. I have a fairly heavy bass (Warwick Corvette $$ 5 string...about 10 lbs) and the single strap was killing my back and shoulders after say a 2 or 3 hour sound check plus set at a recent gig. I wanted to see what I could do about that. I got the Dare strap. Bottom line, it works better than a single strap big time. I still can get a bit stiff over that 2 to 3 hours, but far less so. It feels great that both shoulders are sharing the distributed weight. And the strap is pretty basic nylon web vs. my swanky single strap that I can't stand to wear. The fifth star was held back due to the lack of help in describing a method for first adjusting the strap, which takes some patience.

Good solution for neck dive
Bought it to cure "neck dive" problem with my SG, and it works great. My SG is light, but the center of gravity is way out towards the headstock. This strap keeps the neck from dropping, and also keeps the guitar from shifting out too far to the left.

Great for weight distribution
This is exactly what I needed, I use an epiphone thunderbird IV and if you have ever used one you know that it is not weighted properly and the neck will fall. This strap is exactly what I needed it makes the bass lighter and it prevents it from falling. It does what it says for the price.

worked great! For 1 Hour
I played my 1977 Gibson Les Paul Custom (really heavy) for an hour with no shoulder or neck pain - fantastic! What a relief. I had no trouble adjusting the strap to get the guitar in my usual playing position. I had no trouble with the button on the 2nd shoulder strap. Highly recommended. ***UPDATE*** I began to play the next day at home (not jumping around) and the snap button on the 2nd shoulder strap broke apart, leaving the strap useless. As noted in other reviews, they are using cheap materials. Don't waste your time or money. D'Addario makes great strings but they should be embarrassed to be associated with such crappy merchandise.
