Could be a little thicker material

purchased for my 24 ft boat. the tape is not exactly 50', mine was actually about 7 inches short. i purchased this specifically so i can stripe all the way around with 1 piece. application difficulty is medium. the backing peels off easily, and the adhesive sticks well. using my fingers and a card to get the air bubbles out. some bubbles became stuck and i had to peel off and get them out. this kept happening and creased the film in a few places. not a perfect replacement for original and i need to order another roll to get the last few inches done :(

Before putting our older boat up for sale, we wanted to spiff it up. The burgundy striping tape was very chipped and/or missing in places. This striping tape solved the problem and made the hull look fresh and well cared for! It was easy to apply, adhered well, and looks great! I highly recommend this vinyl striping tape.

I used this for somewhat of an off-label use. When we had our first child, we went all nuts painting the baby room, and adding a nice 2" chair rail all the way around the room. I painted a mural, and crafted the crib from scratch. I mean, I had nothing but time back in those days. *sigh.*When we found out we were going to have another baby less than two years later, we were already going crazy chasing a near two year old around the house all the time, telling him to stop boinging on the couch, or to stop dumping goldfish crackers in the toilet. How was I going to find time to do a bunch of fancy stuff to this baby's room?This roll of 2" vinyl to the rescue. I was able to paint different colors on the top and bottom of the wall, roughly meeting at around 36" up the wall. Then I just ran the vinyl in a straight line all the way around the room covering up the rough paintline, and making a nice simulated chair rail. All in waaaaay less time than painting and masking or putting up hardwood.It's not what it's made for, but it worked great, and maybe kid 2 won't feel like she got the short end of the stick, room-wise.

still looks great after a couple of months. be sure to take accurate measurements before applying. it will save time and material. when putting on your car best method is to use blue painter's tape (or masking tape) to use as a guide. it will help you see if your final application is straight and exactly where you want it.
