This sauce is incredible! The perfect balance of smoky and soy. We were able to replicate an amazing mushroom recipe from Raku by marinating in this sauce and sautéing over very high heat with browned butter. So happy to find this available in Amazon. We got the first supply at Uwajimaya in Seattle.

We have been on the hunt for a specific white soy sauce for years, since we had a Japanese exchange student in our home. This is unfortunately not it - our hopes were high as the package is similar! In any case, it has a very distinct smoky flavor that our family does not really enjoy - although it goes great with pork!
