Although advertised to accept both Losmandy (D-type) and Vixen (V-type) ...
Although advertised to accept both Losmandy (D-type) and Vixen (V-type) dovetail plates, only dovetail plates produced by William Optics will work. D-type dovetails produced by Losmandy and ADC are too narrow and cannot be clamped. V-type dovetails from a variety of sources, including Vixen, are too wide and will not even fit into the static channel. Therefore, unless you are willing to purchase the William Optics dovetails with their nonstandard hole patterns, do not bother.
