Q: What is the expiration date?

I Dont know but look at Walmart for a better price, you can get many more for the same price. When I purchase this I thought it was for a case but is only for one box. for better prices elsewhere.

Q: Is this the same quanity (8 envelopes) that I buy for $2.29 at the grocery store?

I live in a fairly prosperous and populated county and cannot find this in any store They do have the same brand, but not sodium free. Just a comment but you do need some sodium. My doc says not under 1500 mg per day. If you are careful with ingredients, you can keep sodium under control as well as keeping cost reasonable. You can use the high salt version to make rice for example by using no salt in the gravy or using no salt butter for example It takes a bit of calculation since salt is in everything so you have to be very careful in calculations and serving sizes. Keep in mind that almost everything has sodium in it so you have to check everything and different brands Carry a magnifying glass when shopping.

Q: How does this taste to Ramen flavor packets? Normal beef.

It tastes similar to normal beef without the salt.

Q: i purchased this product 50 packets same $ amount..why amazon so much???
