Zero Noodles (Fettuccine) - Carton of 20 *** SPECIAL OFFER *** (Slimming / Weight Loss Noodles)

I have had these on many an occasion, usually when I'm trying to lose a few pounds while not feeling hungry. The perfect way to eat them is to give them a good rinse, boil for 5 minutes or so - use stock if you like - and then add something afterwards. Last night it was soya sauce and sesame oil. They are good for things like bolognese sauce too, and can be added to salads after cooling. They are great as a means to an end.

Sorry these are like eating rubber worms. They take on the flavour of the sauce they are placed in but they are very rubbery and un-chewable a bit like chewing gristle. I would recommend you buy a small amount first to try then you have not wasted a lot of money if you are not keen. Personally I would not buy them again preferring just to have smaller meals if you are trying to diet.

It was short dated stock so the special offer price was not that good.The zero noodles (like the other zero products) are a substitute product so you shouldn't compare directly with 'traditional' noodles. Cooked well they are reasonable for very few calories. Personally I like to add a stock cube and boil them for 30 - 40 mins, that gives the best results.

I buy these regularly, it's hard to believe that something so low in calories can be so filling.

I measured the drained weight and I got 180g against the 200g which is on the bag. Not inpressed.

Excellent alternative to pasts.
