The packaging is fantastic, the differences between the blends are superb, and while the cost of the kit may appear slightly higher than the supermarket variants, the amount you get combined with the potency of the blends, which means that each canister will last a long time, make them a really good deal - and you get the huge jump in quality for free!The Smashed Advocado seasoning is just amazing. Sprinkled of eggs in the morning makes for a spicey breakfast to perk you up!

If you like to cook and you like to experiment these are quite nice and add a definite and distinct flavor to your cooking easy to use simplistic instructions you really can't go wrong unless you put far too much in LOL

These seasonings come in a nice packaging, I have used the chipoltle one on chicken wings and tasted great

These spices really are a taste of Mexico. My favourite one is the Avacado Seasoning. It not only works well with avacado, but I also like to season boiled eggs with it, too. The Smokey Chipotle and Spice Salsa I have used to marinade chicken thighs with tasty results. This is a versatile addition to my spice collection and I highly recommend this gift set.

I love spicy Mexican food and this fantastic set of spices really gives my cooking the wow factor.The three 100g seasonings are beautifully presented in a green box, making this a fabulous gift for foodies. You get spicy salsa, smokey chipotle and smashed avocado and you simply need to let your imagination run wild. I’ve been adding a pinch of Mexico to all my meals and I love it.Highly recommended.

We all love Mexican food in our house, so I was really excited to try these. So far we’ve tried the spicy salsa and the chipotle and they’ve been delicious.I used the spicy salsa on diced chicken breast with salad and the chipotle on beef in wraps with rice and refried beans.The mixes are very flavourful and I haven’t had to use a great deal of them. At £15 for 3 canisters I don’t think this is bad value, when you consider that a sachet at the supermarket will set you back around a quid.The fact that they come nicely boxed as a set means they’d also make a great gift for a foodie.

The Chipotle seasoning packs a really smokey punch, that feels totally different to ones I've had before - the others now feel unnatural and almost chemical based when compared to these delicious blends.The salsa blend is a bit of a stand-out too, it gives just the right spicy kick to what can sometimes feel a little bland. This is a lovely-looking, well-presented gift spice set.The three spices are mild (spicy salsa), medium (smashed avocado) and hot (smokey chipotle). They all have a wonderful aroma, but in particular, I think the spicy salsa stands out.In terms of flavour, this is where it gets interesting. If you use these in cooking, by which I mean adding them into a dish whilst you are cooking, the flavours are somewhat diluted and lost. If however you use these as condiments and sprinkle them over food once served that is when the taste and aroma are at their best.I would say the spicy salsa is my favourite of the three and the one I use the most but the other two are also flavourful but I use them more sparingly.Overall this is a wonderful set of spices and one I shall be ordering again in the future.

This is a set of three different spice blends to "spice" up your Mexican cooking.Spicy Salsa has a mix of bell pepper, cumin, parsley, paprika, chilies, fenugreek, black pepper, salt and onion powder. I could smell the cumin even before I opened the container. I love cumin so this one is a winner. I mixed some into store bought queso and layered it over cut up pork shoulder on some tortillas. It was amazing!The Smashed Avocado Seasoning is salt, onion, garlic, paprika, cayenne pepper, black pepper and turmeric. You can either go all out by adding a few more ingredients and make guacamole or it tastes great on plain fresh avocado. It's really tasty and the turmeric adds an unexpected dimension. I learned something new with this spice blend and plan to add turmeric to my guac from now on.Finally we have a Smoky Chipotle seasoning which contains salt, sage, thyme, coriander, garlic, paprika, cayenne and black peppers which tastes good on chicken and probably pork and beef too but I've only tried it on baked chicken thighs so far.All of these spice mixes taste great and take it up a notch! I would absolutely get these again. The packaging is nice and this set would make a nice gift for someone who likes to cook (or honestly, for my mother in law who could use a little help in the kitchen!)

These spices do all have great flavor BUT I also recognize that they are quite salty. I happen to like a decent amount of salt in my food so by leaving plain salt out and just using these spices, it gives me just about the right amount of salt vs flavor. The mixes aren't spicy, but the flavors are nice and bright. I've been adding them to eggs and chicken wings so far, great on both.

This is a great trio of spices that compliment a variety of recipes. Great to toss on meat, into homemade salsa, or guacamole rather than using a simple flavoring packet. The flavors of each are uniquely suited to each of these applications with that common problem of premixed spices being overly salty not being an issue here; they were balanced and allowed the fresh ingredients' flavor to come through while still flavoring each dish very well. The overall presentation is really nice too, and this would make for a good gift set for the chef in your life.
