Armyandoutdoors Continental Flight Suit/Boiler Suit (40, Orange)

i like this. i bought it for fancy dress etc. but just think first, it happens to work for me as a fancy dress item, it looks right, but beware it is a heavy duty item, it is heavy material, it is not a lightweight fashion item; if you either want to look right or maybe really want something to use or doubles as overalls, or even fly, then fine buy it.UPDATEI bought a grey one that I liked now got a second one, black. In winter I found it is quite warm - warmer than I would have expected - and had started wearing one casually to local shops etc. Works well. Not a lightweight fashion item, but equally not a silly looking item for normal wear.

I like this a lot. I am 5'1" and UK size 10-12 so I knew even the smallest size would be big on me, but with the legs and sleeves rolled up a couple of times it was actually very comfortable to wear around. I did get this mainly for a Halloween costume, and it was comfortable for a night out clubbing, even though the material is nice and thick. I also plan to use this over my uniform on the walk to work in the winter, which I think it will do nicely for. There was a small manufacturing defect on the first one I ordered, but the seller checked to make sure the replacement was fine before it got sent out, and that one is perfect.

As a flying/boiler suit, I’m sure this item is perfectly suited. Sadly, my imagination ran away from me and I purchased it hoping for more of a fashion item. It isn’t! Fabric is very heavy (which as I stress, is perfectly good for purpose it’s intended for). Size wise, if still tempted to buy, it comes in large. I ordered a size 12 (40) and it was enormous but again, I’m guessing it’s intended to wear over clothing. Curiously, it absolutely stank! Even my dog was left perplexed as it smelled of cat pee!

I hope this review does not sound unkind. I purchased the 48 Olive model because I need the olive colour. I would have picked size 50 for comfort but the suit was only available in size 48 in my colour. Fortunately I do not need to use the suit until next spring so I will have to literally grow into the growbag.The suit is well made, unfortunately it does not have Velcro fitted for addon's, No epaulets, but I still believe it is a good buy. Almost a 5 star buy

Excellent quality, however advertised size I would say are one size too small. Therefore if you normally need a 38 order a 40, if you normally need a 40 order a 42.

Suit was fine and up to expectations. I needed it to fit over a suit I need for work whrn I use my motorbike. It doed the business,

Well made with heavy cotton material, good quality zips and loads of pockets. Long in the leg, but otherwise a good fit - I went a size up which gives room for light clothing underneath.
