A budget Metal Gear Solid.
I've played and completed this game twice and you don't do that if the game is rubbish. I'm not sure why this game didn't do a lot better than it did when it was first released. If you like stealth games and you are patient then you may well enjoy this game. When I first played this game I thought "oh dear" as the graphics and animation are not great. After playing the game for 1 hour I couldn't put the controller down. In short (as the name of the game implies) you're a pilot that managed to escape death by parachuting down to safety. Unfortunately, Nazi are abundant and aren't going to just let you walk home. The game is all about stealth - although you do get plenty of guns to help get you out of sticky situations. Every so often you get to level up you character's abilities, for example; you can improve you aim, carry more in your inventory, become more resilient to the ice-cold temperature and so on. You have a temperature bar that decreases if you stay in the cold too long and your health will decrease too if the temperature bar says that you are too cold. Finding shelter and the odd campfire will stop you freezing to death. There are lots of side missions that you don't have to do but I suggest you do as you will earn more experience and so can level your character up faster. This game is no Metal Gear Solid beater but I do recommend that you try this game especially if you like WW2 and stealth games.

The games an ok but the grathics are terrable and the worst thing of all is, if you get near the end of a mission and should fail you have to start right back at the beginning again, i hate that about the game.So frustraiting.

Kept me hooked for hours!
This is a great game! Kept me occupied for ages. The concept of having to keep the main character warm and fed is really good too. The only really annoying thing is that you can't save in the middle of a mission and there are no checkpoints. I often died right at the end of a mission and then had to go back and do the whole thing again. However, putting that aside, I would recommend this game!

Best WW2 game for a long time
This has to be one of the best adventure games I have played for a long time and is highly under-rated. I would say it's better than many of the high profile games. In the game, you go through many long and challenging levels and objectives which involve escaping on a boat, disguising yourself as a guard to get on a train to France, and when the train crashes you have to fight your way through the trecherous snow. This game will keep you busy for a long while. It's great having to keep warm and eat food. The graphics are excellent. You can almost feel the cold. And you can sneak up behind guards and strangle them. It makes a change from the usual WW2 games where loads of guards will shoot you at once. The only reason I don't give this game 5 stars is because there are a few little problems. Firstly the aiming and shooting can be tricky if you or the guard are hiding behind a wall. Sometimes if you are aiming directly at a guard and you shoot, it'll hit the wall you are hiding behind instead or the wall the guard is hiding behind. This can get a bit annoying. Also, the comic you view instead of a movie can be difficult to read. I think a movie would've been better. But it doesn't affect the enjoyment of the game, and it is still one of the most original and exciting adventure games I have played. If you are looking for a WW2 game that is very authentic but different to the usual shootem ups like Medal of Honour and Call of Duty, then this is the game for you.

Great
This game is not so bad as you think it is. It's quite hard becuase you have to eat food and warm yourself up, so your endurance bar does not go down. If it does you health goes down. To be honest, it is as good as any of the splinter cells. You get a good selection of missions and various weapons which you can upgrade e.g. a pistol with a silencor. You can even fish for food and cook it. It also has some rpg elements in it. You level up depending on how many points you get on a mission or secondary objectives. You can upgrade - health bar, endurance bar, and other things like how fast your stealth kill is. I have played many games, and this game has SUPERB A.I. the germans actually hide behind things when they have noticed you. The storyline is execellent and you get to view a comic instead of a movie. You get loads of missions to do and it is very, very realistic. I would reccomend this game if you like RPG's or WW2 Shooters. GET THIS GAME.

What a refreshing change!
At last a WWII game when you don't just run through the levels blasting away left right and centre. This actually provides something of a challange as you have to search for food and warmth to keep yourself alive. Some encounters with the enemy require you to sneak past or draw them into an ambush rather than just blasting away. I've only just started playing this but It's good. If you want a challange rather than a mindless bloodbath then this is the game for you!

So Awful
Terrible Graphics, no saving during a mission, really annoying running around looking for food and fires, and Guess what! It's great Fun and I like it. A pity the developers didn't iron out the Bugs though.
