GREAT Product for Home Automation needs!
I used this to install "smart' pool feed, whee it checks the weather, and if its windy turns the valve off, also turns on valve at 7AM, and shuts it off at 8AM, the reason for that is I have an 'automatic pool fill' but if its windy it pushes the water away and the pool filler starts filling more water. and the pool may flood, THIS fixes that issue!

Hope it lasts longer
So far so good. Take a look at the power requirement on this motorized ball valve. It runs on either AC or DC compared to its competitors. Something I learned going through all my quick closing solenoid valves and seeing how my plastic connectors crack though time, is that water hammer is no joke. I'm using this to run my irrigation on my backyard powered by a scrap 12v transformer.

So far so good. A little slower that I wanted but it does work as described.

Not Closing
Valve worked great for 3-4 weeks but now it is not closing all the way wasting my water. Might want to look for a better valve, this one isn't it.Edit: I took the valve apart and when the motor is opening it is getting around 5v to make it open. When the power is shut off the motor gets around 5v to close the valve but the voltage decreases as the valve closes until there isn't enough voltage to make it close completely. It gets it power from the blue capacitor shown in my picture. This in my opinion is a design flaw. The capacitor needs to have more capacity so the voltage doesn't drop so quickly.Edit: The seller contacted me and gave me a refund for the faulty valve which was nice of them to do. Thank you.

A way to easily protect water damage when you are away.
I turn off my main water supply every time I leave the house. A simple switch by the exit door to protect against water damage from a broken water line to a washer or refrigerator. It happens, but who really turns their water off at the clothes washer after every load as instructed.

Sprinkler Main Valve
Got this to use for a main valve on the sprinkler system. The controller supplies 24v to the valve and I can hear it opening and hear the water flowing through the pipes. When the controller turns off, the valve can be heard closing and the closed LED lights up. Time will tell how well it holds up. Since it's installed inside my basement, weather shouldn't cause any problems.
