Ordered two and they would boil an egg but the poacher is awful and messy, I have a Swan poacher and boiler now and it is great

No up plug.
Unable to attempt to use device as others stated it doesn't come with a UK compatible plug and use an adaptor I already had blew the fuse. So waiting on another adaptor. Looking at the size I have a previous egg cooker which was £3. This looks to be only slightly larger which is a pity as the reason I got this was to cook proper sized omelettes. Not tiny snack sized ones.
