A very good record
Although the first song does not sound as good as it should, it does not have the 'strange' sound that the EMI-Virgin versions from 1999 have: it seems that they tried to make sound old DB records as they have been recorded yesterday, they are correct, not so loud but definitely there is something unusual in the sound: you pump up the volume and they sound too loud, you decrease a bit and becomes dimmed, I mean, I don't find a proper listening level with the 1999 EMI's. I've always found such feeling with those versions, and completely disappears when listening to the RCA's or the 1990 remastered EMI's.Regardless of the version, with regard to the music itself, if you liked Station To Station you will surely enjoy this one too.

Low
The Berlin trilogy, Low is ahead of its time especially side two, absolutely loved it the first time I heard it on CD but it’s a must on vinyl

It’s David Bowie’s Low on vinyl!
Excellent! Beautifully produced (both the sleeve and the vinyl disc) sounds great on my Teac TN 300 turntable. I bought this when it came out in 1977 but then had it on CD. It was always an album that felt a bit disappointing as a CD (although it still sounded great) so getting it again on vinyl is a real treat.

This is my favourite Bowie album
After decades of listening to music, I've only just gotten around to really "getting" Bowie. This is my favourite album of his, and what an album. Great to finally have it on vinyl and it's a good pressing.

Perfect
If you're reading this you're probably a Bowie fan so I'll talk about the pressing and packaging. 180gm vinyl perfect, no surface noise, no warps. Sleeve perfect. 10 out of 10.

Great Vinyl Package
Second to Diamond Dogs my favourite. Very different for Bowie or anyone else and ahead of it's time. It's short on lyrics and a clear precursor to Heroes, but I find not as dark or brooding. This pressing lets the intricacies of the music out of its' cage and the presentation is fast and exciting. The packaging is faithful including sales flyer. You get a "hard" cardboard inner with original copyright warning (cassette and 8-Track!!) but also included thoughtfully is another lined bag for better record protection although I've put the disc in a Mobile Fidelity inner as usual. All in all a tremendous package.
