Icom Mount, Controller to Main Unit, IC-2730A

This worked perfectly for my ic-2730a. Relocated my radio to a different vehicle and wanted to mount the display on the radio! Came with everything needed.

The radio is a base station for 2M & 70cm, and I needed the faceplate ON the main body. Works as designed

The box even says Icom MBA-4 Combination Bracket, made in Japan. Seems legit, solid and well made and fits perfectly to my Icom 2730A transceiver. This is my first Icom but I can't believe this so called accessory didn't come as default, usually the face should be stuck to the body, and if you want to remove the face and extend it then that should be an optional accessory. That's on Icom and not related to this accessory so can't take off a star, I read a lot of reviews before buying the Icom 2730A and lots of complaints about it not coming with any mounting brackets, which I thought wasn't an issue for me since I was going to use it as a base station and not in the car. But it turns out you either need to also buy this MBA-4 accessory so you can attach the face to the body, or buy the car mounting kit, otherwise you are only give a long cable that connects the face to the body but no way to secure the face to anything. At least Icom should have made that clear on their product page for the Icom 2730A, so buyer beware, hope that helps someone plan ahead.
