If you get oneblades for your female spouse/fiance/GF then I suggest you pick up 2x the amount you normally get every 3-4 months.\nI buy the 2 blade replacement pack for $24 (me every 6-8 months) and the 3 blade replacement blades for her every 4 months ideally.\nThe blade is designed to turn or fade to bright green when the blade needs to be replaced. Anyway yes, this shaver shaves in both directions just like if you were scratching your cheak in the same place moving your fingers up and down. In other words, it shaves just as well pushing as it does when pulling, so you don't need to lift it off your face to make the next swipe down, just leave it against your face and push back up for the next row. Another thing I like about it is that once fully charged you can easily get 20 shaves out of it before recharging (face only).
