awesome sub $100 iem bass/music/gaming
I hope this helps someone who is like me wondering what to get up to $100 or less for an IEM or headphones etc…I wanted a good iem for bass, listening to music and gaming. Headphones just never are comfortable for extended periods and bulky. I love bass and edm, so that was important, but so was gaming and hearing footsteps for FPS games and overall soundstage and quality. I started with ATH M40x Audio Technica over ear headphones… just wasn’t comfortable. sound was just decent. Then I got Truthear Crinacle Zero iem’s…. just sounded overly boosted and artificial and for gaming was barely ok ish but not good.I then thought what the heck, lets try these Moondrop Aria 2 iem’s. Boom! Mission accomplished! while im sure there can be other recommendations and other good iem’s out there let me just tell you these work and work well without an amp or DAC. just plugged into my PC 3.5 basic realtek audio jack. i like drum and bass edm and the bass is solid, great, good balanced sound, good for gaming just no complaints and completely happy. I really didnt want to spend more then $100 cause im living in a hotel rn and Im also a dj and have great equipment in storage.Anyhow this was a long ass review but if your criterion’s are similar to mine and budget too, this will be very satisfactory.Cheers

Don't touch these
Sound quality is pretty good, range is solid. Value is awful for how much your paying you would expect good quality components but its bad, I am stupid enough to have returned the first one because I was within the window and it had failed, well now i'm ~8 months later and have the same issue. Since support still hasn't answered my original ticket from 9 months ago thats at best a shot in the dark, since its broken I took it apart and tried to repair it.The issue is the brace that holds the connector is very weak and malleable and 'fell inside' of the ear bud, taking it apart is relatively easy but the wires are so weak they are frayed from such a slight movement now breaks it despite me using hotglue. It likely shorted and burnt it out so i'd just be wasting time doing more repairs at this stage even if i replaced the mmcx connector. It's worth noting I think I only ever removed the cable after attaching it maybe six times to clean it ?Probably one of the few positive things I can say about it - being all metal mesh makes it very convenient to keep clean.Last thing i'll add is I was patient with the cable so that it would be more comfortable in your ears but even after ~8 months the cable is still too stiff and frequently annoying in video calls and I could never get them to sit quite right. But, don't worry it comes in a very pretty box.

Great Headphones!
In my experience these were perfect! A little loud, but to be expected, The sound is average nothing to complain about, I always wanted to get into IEMS because using regular headphones on my computer messes up my hair a lot.. so these were a perfect replacement! I came to know about these when I was watching a streamer use them! I've read the reviews and it seems like a lot more people know about IEMS compared to me, So if you want a more in-depth review read those, this is a review of an average person! So to sum up everything, I feel like these are really nice, a bit loud, but other then that, the audio quality is fine, and they feel comfortable wearing, so would recommended!"Psst also the packaging is really cute!"

RIGHT EARBUD STOPPED WORKING!
RIGHT EARBUD STOPPED WORKING!Bought this back in May 2024. By the time of writing this it's August of 2024. These are such good IEMs in terms of sound. But man, build quality really really sucks. The paint started to peel off after using it for about 1 month. I didn't really care about cosmetics although it still would be good to have a better looking IEMs even after months yknow.Right earbud stopped working all of a sudden. I use this IEMs almost everyday for daily gaming and streaming music. Bummer that this IEM didn't last that long, especially at this pricepoint of $90.I saw similar problems in the reviews saying that one of the earbuds stopped working too. I hope that I read that before I bought it. Hope this serves a warning.

Nice sound, but maybe not craftsmanship...
Really nice sound and I love it until it stopped working. 5 months after the purchase the right unit became low in volume, got pretty good customer service and they sent me a new unit and I appreciated that. Now 2 more months the left unit becomes low too, I think Moondrop really did a good job on the sound, but not craftsmanship though.

Great sound
I’ve had these for a few weeks now and I have really been enjoying them. They fit well and that’s not always the case for my ears. I’m also really pleased with the quality. They feel very premium. The sound is very clear with clean and strong bass and good treble that isn’t harsh or painful.
