Lightweight, solid perfect fit for my asolo sherpa gv boots

I am a regular winter walker and climber. I bought these to replace my Stubai Tyrol 12 point crampons. The lower weight is noticeable and the quick fitting and adjustment is good too. I find the points are too short though - the crampon can push through cruddy snow and semi-frozen crusty ice on steep slopes, giving a feeling of insecurity. I find I have to kick harder into slopes to maintain stability, rather than rely on long points to bite deeper into the snowpack. This isn't a problem on iced rocks and compacted neve where the shorter points actually make walking a bit more comfortable and less wobbly on the ankles. I just wish those third points were as long and aggressive as the second set. For more technical climbing, I absolutely love my Grivel G22s.
